Normmatt raises an important point - if you can't enact the effort to find easily available resources like a C tutorial or some reference documentation, you sure won't have enough will to actually work things out. You can't rely on being spoon-fed all the information - you have to go out and earn it.
There's a difference between asking specific questions and asking for the barebones basics, people have to understand that "hacking" a modern platform is very difficult, it requires developers to already have all the background information and understand it.
Proficiency is a one-way street, you can't skip goal posts. People need to choose attainable goals rather than wake up one day and saying "I'm going to hack the PS4". How are you going to do that if you don't know the first thing about coding? It's like saying "I'm going to get the Oscar" - you can't just "get it", it's an award that comes after years of grueling work as an actor. You need to start with the basic principles, large goals come later.
The books argument is irrelevant, they could cost a billion bucks and they're still available for free in libraries - just go to one if you must. I personally prefer online resources, I'm too lazy, that's why I'm not a hacker lol.

Google almost always work for me when I need to look something up. I had it turn up the most obscure of things before.
I really really doubt you can't look up blowfish or arm asm online.
As for Cuban Internet, I also doubt anyone knows such an absurdity exists, therefore the "Google it" responses are still valid.

What does the price/quality/bandwidth/latency of the internet has to do with having to search something on google or not? I used to browse google on dial-up back in the day using one of the first symbian s60 phones and I was lucky enough that xhtml was supported.
A sample Google result (check my attachment) will require your web browser to download just a little bit over 1mb. That would take about 10 seconds on a 14.4 Kbps connection. This isn't ideal but its not bad. It is like investing 10 seconds to get several pathways to knowledge.
If you take the cached part out (AKA: you visited google in the last month or something) the results are only 260 kb. That would take 2 and a half seconds for the results-page to completely download on a 14.4 Kbps connection.
Wiibrew, and to a slightly lesser extent hackmii, specifically takes steps to avoid handing it all to you on a silver platter, and the terms it uses as not necessarily the same as the ones used by the hacking scene but wiibrew very much does have what goes with the wii ( http://wiibrew.org/wiki//dev/es for instance is more or less IOS, WAD and whatever installing,Any resources on Wii hacking (other than WiiBrew, it has nothing for me)? If you mean the more file level stuff then I tend to suggest general hacking docs and looking at some of the stuff the mario kart and the smash brothers people are doing. They have some good listings on the common formats, compressions and whatnot.
Well that sucks. The Wii is 9 years old. CAN'T WE JUST HAVE THIS!!?!
