Speaking of charge-related drama. I just switched my PSP USB charging cable from a 1.0A USB wall charger to a 2.0A. Left it charging for 24 hours with nothing else plugged in. After I noticed that it finished charging (charging light was gone) I pick it up to play it but notice its only 2 bars full! What the crap?!
I switched back to the 1.0A charger. I didn't realize 1.0A and 2.0A made such a big difference! PSP isnt even supposed to charge by USB in the first place so I didn't think there was a "correct" type.
Can anyone reassure me that I didn't destroy my PSP? I turned it on after a few minutes of charging with the 1.0A and it was at full bars. So at least the bars are back to normal, I just hope I didn't permanently affect the battery in any way.

Wow it gets worse. I plugged in my Vita and left it overnight. (Powered off) Afterwards I turn it on and see it hasn't charged at all.
So I guess the problem had nothing to do with whether it is 1.0A or 2.0A. Rather, one of the charging ports on this dual USB charger just doesn't work!! The Vita was plugged in to the same port the PSP was. So I guess no matter what I plug in there, it won't charge.
Im not even entirely sure why I posted here in the first place but in the end it looks like my #chargegate runs deeper than I thought.
What do I even do now? I guess I will try switching the vita and tablet and see if now it causes the tablet to stop charging. I should also let the seller of this USB charger know that it doesn't work.
