I think you can only connect 4 Wiimotes/pro controllers at a time, so 3 of those 8 would have to be GC or 3DSes.

I think I saw something that said you can use up to 7 Wiimotes/+Nunchuk/Classic Controller, or 7 Pro controllers, or 8 GCN, or 8 3DS.

This game alone, might be the reason why I update my console XD. I don't think I can wait it out any longer past that. W/e update comes on that disc is what I'll end up updating to, I'll just keep my Wii U ethernet cord unplugged to prevent silent/auto updates, because we all know about the situation with the new and "improved" EULA. Pretty much gives nintendo the right to update your console whenever they feel like it. That being said, wifi settings will never be put back on my wii u ever again, ethernet all the way wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii lol.

At least I don't have to worry about Maxternal's exploit getting "patched" as its a hardware flaw that can only be resolved by revamping the hardware of the Wii U entirely. The worst nintendo can do is temporarily block our ability to launch homebrew and/or the trinux launcher in the vWii which is easily fixable.

A full blown cafeOS kernel exploit is bound to happen for Wii U mode, its just a matter of time....

yup, whatever version is on that disc, I will update my WiiU to it ^^
frankly, I don't care for "backup loading" of WiiU titles, the very few, that are worth playing, are worth purchasing, too and I already own them, homebrew would be a nice extra, but if I had to pick whether to take homebrew or smash, pff, that wouldn't even be a decision, smash all the way
vWii homebrew is satisfying me right now as it is and if we ever get homebrew on WiiU, then that's nice but for now all I care is to be able to play the games, that I buy :-)

That Amiibo trailer.. So bad it's good!

It has some interesting aspects to it, though.

This shows that more Wii U Pro Controller or Wii Classic Controllers can be connected.

Such flawless paint job... NOT! Those E3 Amiibos looked way better than these crappy ones!

Such an adorable couple playing Smash Bros.!

Wins the battle and then tries to kiss his "girlfriend". I honestly thought they had a thing going until she backed off. lol

The NGC adapter looks rather nicely positioned and we don't see the cables because they connected to the rear whereas the original adverts shows the adapter connected to the front USB ports.

Video Trailer

If Nintendo wanted they could easily make their own teen romance show just based off of this trailer. :P

I hope it fails. Just because they clearly didn't give 100% for the 3DS version.

The 3DS version was only released to maintain the hype until the definitive edition is out.

Having the Wii U (home console version) out during Christmas is actually a great idea because that's when consumers go apeshit spending all of their money.

Got to agree here. With every new feature they announce, the 3DS version looks like an evil brother from another dimesion who's followed the wrong path.

Can somebody tell me if my collected moves and items can be transfered to the WiiU version?

omg I feel ambarassed for the human race after watching that trailer.... ... they are obviously trying REALLY hard to sell those crappy dust collectors

It won't work because collectors have already seen how much of a downgrade the finalised Amiibo figures are in comparison to the ones shown at E3.

I plan to buy some of the Amiibo figures. Why? I have children and they love Disney Infinity. The Figures look like a good step into getting them into smash bros. XD

I've played Smash since N64, and I've already got mine as well as a GC adapter on Pre Order. Can hardly wait.

Nintendo has recently revealed that there's normal and special bundles up for pre-order, and as such, pictured details below.
