Gaming Skylanders Trap Team - no discussion?

Hi all,

I'm surprised there's no discussion of Skylanders: Trap Team on here at all.. I know it was released here in Australia a few days before EU and USA, but still.. it's been almost a week and I cannot find any discussion about it for any platform on any of the usual sites.

I bought the local Wii version as it also comes with a Wii U download code, so figured it'd cover both bases there.

I'm interested in finding out if the Wii portal will work with the PS3 version (I suspect it won't work with the xbox 360 version).

agreed about the overpriced pieces of plastic - usually I wait until the new game in the series is out so I can then pick up the figurines I want at a budget price.. but it's a new title on the Wii, which has few, if any new titles released for it now.

I haven't even tried ripping it yet.. guessing it will work under USB CFG Loader with no issues.

    I mean yeah sure but the specs are the same as a $50 model, it's just those pesky "quality of life" things driving up the price, like an actually working speaker, or buttons that don't melt, and stuff like that.

    I think all in my Pi 4 was well north of 200 bucks 150ish for the Pi 4 the case the fancy cooler, then like 70 for the 500GB MicroSD then like 70 for the Xbox controller. But honestly it's a nice set up I really enjoy and to me was worth every penny. (even bought more controllers for 2 or 4 player games.) hmmm have never played any 2 player games yet :(

    Yeah that's what I hate about the RPi, it's supposedly $30 or something but it takes an additional $200 of accessories to actually turn it into a working something.

    Yeah a lot of it I consider a hobby, using Batocera I am constantly adjusting the collection adding and removing stuff, scraping the artwork. Haven't even started on some music for the theme... Also way down the road I am considering attempting to do a WiiFlow knock off lol
