Hacking Skylanders Portal Not Working with Usbloadergx

I’m having a bit of an odd problem with one of the Wiis I homebrewed. I homebrewed a Wii and it’s disc drive finally just broke down. Despite the portal and game working perfectly when I played using a real disc, now the Skylanders portal will seemingly deactivate when I load the game from USBLoadergx. It seems as if the game itself and the Wii work perfectly fine. The weird thing is that I’ve homebrewed multiple Wiis and this is the only one with this error. I feel like I’m missing something really obvious here, does anyone have any pointers? Thanks.
