Odd, Snes9x Next runs fine on vWii as well as it does for me on a regular Wii, I don't know what it is you're referring to, but there should be no difference.
Placebo effect..... Seriously though I'd need to test some games out on both to be sure: we're apparently talking full speed with RA SNES? Played the first half of Castlevania IV and it slows to a crawl at certain points, several times..... Mario World (minor) slowdown, Kirby SuperStar slowing to a crawl... Hell even Yoshi's Island slows... These games don't slow to the same extent on the actual hardware at these points, trust me I'm well versed with the games, but they do 'seem' to be slower on vWii than on regular Wii.

Snes real hardware had slowdown as they didn't know how to overcome it in the early days, many games had it on the real deal, and isn't emulator-specific, even Bsnes/Higan have slowdowns where the real Snes would experience them. Trust me though, Snes9x Next is way better than GX ever was, as that uses frame skipping where Snes9x Next does not. Earlier developers didn't know how to overcome it, it's not vWii specific as it runs exactly the same as a real Wii, it's a placebo effect. I recommend looking it up, early games had it, later games did not. Yoshi's Island uses the SuperFX 2 chip, the Wii has issues emulating it period. Snes9x GX and Next aren't 100% full speed with a few games.

Should be an FPS counter.

This here http://gbatemp.net/threads/full-vwii-softmod.339899/

These other guides should help too, to know what you shouldn't do.

I found the snes vwii emulator slow comparwd to playing it on the wii. Button delay was a problem for me too. The nes emulator worked like a charm. Some of the up scale graphics looked not so hot on wii games (nsmb)

At least e shop has some cool titles if you're too cheap to buy wii u games.
