    Classic Mode doesn't support region-free, sadly. Throw them an email requesting it though, I need it too.

    They removed game dumping, one of the only things they teased in the first teaser back on October 2nd, and retail card support doesn't work with region-free? Ughh. Was waiting for 2.0 so I could play an undumped imported game. :(

    Personally, I wish they'd just released the updated loader they teased back in October; specifically the ability to dump your own games, rather than holding it hostage to emunand and 2.0. I have one imported non-dumped game I'm dying to play and all I need is the dumper..

    The Gateway version is merely the launcher file you put on your SD card, if you buy a Gateway now it'll run 2.0 once it's out.

    In that comparison, these clones wouldn't be Android, they would be those Chinese iPhone knockoffs (if they could manage to get OS onto them). knockoffs =/= healthy competition.

    I'd call it over-simplification. I'd suggest calling them the 'DS' cart and the '3DS' cart but you'd just as quickly run into people asking "Which is which?", people will always find something to confuse. It's fairly obvious what 'red card' is referring to..

The prices aren't low enough to justify anybody buying them, but if Gateway sales suffer it could hurt the chances for future software updates, which the clone teams obviously won't compensate for.     The clones are barely even discounted. Can't blame someone for buying a $4 R4 but who is seriously going to spend $60+ on an unreliable clone when the real thing is barely any higher?

    Yes, you just go to DS Profile and it boots into Gateway Mode. You'll only need to reinstall the hack with the blue card if you ever use DS Mode on the 3DS again.

    In my experience: Amazon ships as late as possible while getting it to you on time. When I pay for release day delivery, they'd ship it the day before and it would arrive in one day (using shipping that would normally take longer, but is close enough that they figure it'll arrive on time)...
