I have an iphone, would be interested to know what you were going to suggest
I formatted my flash drives in a number of ways all of which resulted in the same thing. I'd have a folder named whatever and upon opening it to see the game files the computer would kind of freeze for 5-10 seconds...
i mistyped, it looks like this SD/install/plaingamename/invisible game files
I talked to somebody about it and they basically said that the mac will lose files when transferred over from a usb that was on windows. I'm trying to use an online storage device now like media fire or google drive...
I think it has to be picking up my sd since I installed haxchi through it. I pretty much made it all the way up to step 4 of the noob guide.
Is the fact that the files .app, *.h3, title.tmd are just invisible on my mac a factor?
I'm running Wii U USB Helper on a Mac using Windows 10 Virtual Box. I downloaded Yoshi's Wooly World and put the files on a flash drive since Virtual Box just can't read SD cards. Took the flash drive off the virtual machine and back on my mac desktop then plugged my SD card on my mac desktop...
fixed the problem. I rebuilt my kernel a second time but didn't include di+ and it worked. Not sure if that was actually the problem or not but I read that some people were complaining about di not working.
so I rebuilt my kernel file and swapped everything on to my SD card. I loaded up USBLoaderGX and none of my games showed up. I setup my Nand Emu and Nand Emu Channel paths to sd:/nands/usbloader <-- the name of emunand. All my games show up on usbloader gx now but now when I click on a game it...
Ok great news! I'll just replace everything in the neek folder to be on the safe side instead of just the kernel.
And yea I only use it for WiiWare and Virtual Console games, so I basically just always have it running in Neek mode.
Thanks Cyan!
Many thanks! I have decided to forget about having a flash drive or external hard drive and just go for the SD card route. Am I correct in thinking that the only change I would have to make is rebuilding neek files to work on SD instead of USB? I'd just replace the neek files already on my...
Hate to make this thread but I couldn't find one that specifically addressed my issue.
I followed guides all around this site to set up my wii to play Virtual Console games as well as WiiWare games. After much trail and error I was able to play all the games I wanted to flawlessly, everything...
I recently got a bunch of wads working on through EmuNand but realized that I would have to setup Neek2o if I wanted to be able to play WiiWare titles. I followed one of Cyan's guides and had to compile my own sneek(against my will). After spending multiple hours troubleshooting I finally got...
You helped with my main question of the thread so thank you! I'll do some searching about the game titles and the sound on the wii. Last question before I'm done with the thread, do you know of anyway to use a gamecube controller with virtual console titles like n64 for snes. I want to avoid...
true, but money is money and I hate to find out I just wasted some. Sorry I feel like I'm abusing your knowledge in this thread.
Would you happen to know why I get "The Wii system memory has been damaged. Refer to the Wii operations manual for further instructions" message? From what it...
Well that is definitely a bummer :/ I doubt I can do a return since it was on craigslist. I guess the only thing I can hope for is that nintendo still does fixes on these things, otherwise it's borderline useless!
Wow nice! Thanks for that suggestion. Switched over to my CRT and now it at least tells me that I need a classic controller. I'm trying to go through every system to see if I hit any hiccups. Earlier I tried running a game and it started out by saying "Loading" then went to an all purple...
