Hate to make this thread but I couldn't find one that specifically addressed my issue.
I followed guides all around this site to set up my wii to play Virtual Console games as well as WiiWare games. After much trail and error I was able to play all the games I wanted to flawlessly, everything is setup perfectly. I have been keeping my nands and sneek folders on an external hard drive. Those folders take up around 13gb of space on my 500gb external hard drive. Obviously it felt like a waste to devote an entire hard drive to just 13 gigs of storage so I copied those folders onto a 16gb Sandisk Cruzer Glide. I looked it up and apparently this model of flash drive is compatible with USB Loader GX.
I plugged it into the correct usb port and booted up the loader. Everything worked well and I didn't get stuck on the loading screen as many others do. The app loaded up all my games and even showed the play counts, which seemed like a sure sign that it had worked. I click on the desired game to play, and it goes to the next screen showing me the games title and options for settings or start. Once I enter this screen I am locked into it. If I press "Start" I'll hear the click noise but the screen won't change, the same thing happens if I press "Settings" or the arrows on the side. The only way to exit this screen is to hold the power button on my wii and reset the system.
I formatted the flash drive to be fat32 and MBT the same way I have my external drive formatted. I tried booting up a couple different games, but the same thing happened each time. I switched back to my external hard-drive and it works perfectly. I'm really confused and don't know what to do since I couldn't find anyone else with this problem.
