Neoflash MK-R6 Gold & Silver announced!

New slot-1 flash kit with built-in motion sensor

The Neoflash team have announced two brand new slot-1 flash kits - the MK-R6 Gold and the MK-R6 Silver.

The MK-R6; the team's latest effort, is a slot-1 DS game card sized flash kit. It uses micro SD cards, supports clean ROMs through drag and drop, has built-in "magickey pass2", a 2M EEPROM, 2M SRAM buffer, 16M programmable flash menu, homebrew support and DS Lite brightness adjustment. But the most unique feature of this cart lies within the 'Gold' version of the MK-R6. The Gold edition will have a built in accelerometer and gyro sensor which will be compatible with all homebrew that was designed around the original NDS Motion Cart. The 'Silver' version of the MK-R6 will not include the accelerometer or gyro sensor.

Could somebody explain me what is the "original NDS motion cart", and how does it change homewrew support? I know this is a pretty dumb question, but I really want to know

wow, these slot1 flashcards keep poppin out. still gonna stickwith the ol' r4 though.
Neoflash were the first company to release a slot 1 flash cart! Okay... compatibility sucked, it stuck out of the top like a sore thumb and at first you needed a slot 2 card just to be able to boot the thing, but at the time it was pretty neat!

I'm trying to be optimisic with this announcement of the R6 but no SDHC support? Will be interesting to see how well it fares with TH:DJ and CV:POR speed wise and download play. Gyro sensor is cool but not exactly much one can use it with at the mo.

I'll stick to my M3 Simply. Gyro sensors are a nice touch, but not to many homebrew games use it, plus I see no mention of any SDHC compatibility...

Edit: And maybe its the screens but the sticker and casing look really cheap...
