The Wiikey 2 has recently been announced by the Wiikey team. This new modchip boasts compatibility with all currently available Wii console models, and, just like the orignal Wiikey; offers full upgrade capability and configuration via DVD. Other usual features include region override; automatic error 001 bypassing; GCN audio-fix and an 8mbit EEPROM. The chip is a 9-wire (maximum) solder job install, not unlike the d2pro.
