Thanks for the clarification. I wasn't sure if it'd be safe for the sysnand.[Stock (SYSNAND)]

Yes as long your sysnand is clean you can boot and play online even booting via Hekate.

Sorry just one more question. When the rentry guide says to put you SD card back into your PC and move back any previously deleted files into your SD card, does that mean I should extract and replace the Amostphere, sigpatches, and hakate zips into my SD card?
Sure can switch it around…then, after a reboot, it will only apply blocking only to your emunand (and not your Sysnand….although Sysnand will still get a new default.txt that’s generated automatically that will block telemetry/logging but will not block the rest of Ninty services)I just hacked my switch after following the rentry guide and was wondering if I can change the DNS MITM default.txt to emummc.txt after I already finished hacking.
Thanks to any replies.
Does that mean I've dirtied my sysnand and could get banned?Sure can switch it around…then, after a reboot, it will only apply blocking only to your emunand (and not your Sysnand….although Sysnand will still get a new default.txt that’s generated automatically that will block telemetry/logging but will not block the rest of Ninty services)
Not at all. You are just being more specific with your dns:mitm. It’s not even put into play unless you boot CFW on Sysnand. Even if you run CFW on Sysnand it’s meant to be used that way by design and many folks run Atmosphere on Sysnand without issues. Piracy and Cheating are what get you in trouble.Does that mean I've dirtied my sysnand and could get banned?
Hopefully it’s not complaining about firmware because that would mean your switch is talking to Ninty. If it is, the latest FW is 14.1.2. I heard you can update your CFW by downloading the firmware from that Darth Sternie Firmware site. Then you can use daybreak.nro (comes with Atmosphere, your CFW, by default.)my switch is asking for me to install a system update but i`m running atmosphere (1.3.2) and CFW (14.1)
my first safe answer was to just deny the update every time and continue playing but should I worry about this?

if you’re not blocking Ninty using exosphere and dns:mitm, here’s how to set them up:
More than likely you are seeing a game update though. You can continue to ignore it and start game anyway or download the update from your favorite jolly rancher and update it to make the warning go away.
Does it play for a little bit or crash right away?I can't play tunic, always crashing,I guess I need to update sigpatches, atmosphere etc?But the think way i don't know to update it,Last time I did it my switch didn't now function that well haha,I hope someone can help me thanks
I decided to add emmnu on my switch and I ended up getting this error when I tired to enter into the homebrew menu.
Searched the web and tried to fix it and failed miserably.
Yeah I thought I deleted the theme before but I guess I didn't do it properly. You didn’t delete Themes like you should before an upgrade.
Delete your /atmosphere/contents/0100000000001000 directory and reboot.
Yeah I just checked I deleted that folder but I'm still getting that error. I double checked and I did reboot. You didn’t delete Themes like you should before an upgrade.

Download a fresh copy of hbmenu.nro fro here. https://github.com/switchbrew/nx-hbmenu/releasesYeah I just checked I deleted that folder but I'm still getting that error. I double checked and I did reboot.
My dumb self that's what it was (it was missing) thanks again.Download a fresh copy of hbmenu.nro fro here. https://github.com/switchbrew/nx-hbmenu/releases
Delete your current hbmenu.nro (should be at the root of your SDCard) and replace it with the one in the zip file and see if that fixes things.
