is this the translation of digimon xros wars red/blue?
I am a little lost about how to translate my roms, pls, someone can help me?
i don't know where's that file with MSG file, i don't know if you posted the translation of a part of the game or if it is the programs to translate it, i am not feeling good in playing in japanese, i like to see the stories of the games, get the emotions, see how to digivolve a digimon, but i am a little lost with that part, someone can help me pls?

This is a translation/hack for LOST EVOLUTION. You just have to download the patch file and the patch program and for the last apply the patch in your Lost Evolution ORIGINAL ROM.

Story Mode is not translated. Almost everything excluding Story Mode is translated:
- Evolution Tree names
- Digimon names 1 (when evolve, battle, etc.)
- Digimon names 2 (inside Digidex)
- Tamer, Bosses, NPC names
- Traits and Support Abilities names
- All Attack names that you can learn
- Bugplate and Digiplate Item names
- Key and Card Item names
- Digimon Type, Level, Skill, Class names
- Board and Song names
- Map names
- In-Battle buttons
- Menus (NOT fully translated)
- Status section
- Evolution, Degenerate, Digiconvert alerts
- Game Progress section
- Yes and No messages (NOT fullt translated)
- Digidex Description
- Evolution & Degenerate conditions
- Equipment description
- Attack conditions (do NOT confuse with Attack description)
- some minor stuff

also, if you play Shoutmon's version, you can enjoy some translated images and the replacement for .dot digimon, so thw obtainable digimon became Shoutmon, Shoutmon X3, MadLeomon, Penguimon, Golemon, Persiamon and a remastered version of Impmon sprite.

Well, I think... Never... lmao.
You can watch the translated Story on YouTube, there is a guy that subtitled his video tutorials (walkthroughs).
I'd like to own this amazing game with Story Mode translation too, but there is no possibility doing it because of REAL LIFE, and I don't have a computer anymore, and even if I would having one, I could not do it because of real life problems...
I "own" (own means that I have it on flashcard, not just emulated from somewhere) many translated games just like Naruto Shippuden Shinobi Retsuden 3 and Dragon Ball Kai Ultimate Botouden. They are translated but not the story thing. It's a bit annoying to play without story because it cuts the nostalgia a little, but its better than playing it in fully-japanese. I'm glad I could make it "playable" and also that I could hack somethings like adding new Digimon.

(please note that Naruto and Dragon Ball are not translations of mine, I just mentioned them in order to compare with the Digimon rom I used to hack/translate.)

Hi! Sorry to bother you! I was just curious if you would consider making a tutorial on rom hacking for the Digimon DS series? I am trying to edit Digimon Story Sunburst and Moonlight hence would love to learn how you did editing for Digimon Story Lost Evolution. (Editing Digimon Story Sunburst and Moonlight to include Marsmon which is the counterpart of Minervamon as well as edit certain traits and lastly, to make it lady friendly since even if player was a female in Dusk, the player would still be addressed as 'he' after the last battle)

-magically translates things in 5 seconds because is asked to without knowing how long it takes to translate things, proof read the script, make sure it runs well and not knowing if there's a dedicated team to help with this...

With my knowlegde, I think it's not possible to edit/hack other Digimon game for DS that is not Lost Evolution, Xros Red/Blue, because the simple fact there is no tool for unpacking and palette/text editing for them.
Also, for editing/hacking Lost Evolution & Xros Red/Blue is quite easy. You know, I'm not a hacker, I'm a designer... So, I do not understand that much of computer language and things, I'm only good with graphic editing and everything that include IMAGE EDITING...
I recommend you not editing your first rom by serious, just touch the rom in order to learn how to, just like I did. After that, you can touch the rom seriously.
