That was not my point and I said didn't want to argue over this. Please stop.So the personal opinion of some one who is non-english speaking is insulting? Right... let's better leave it at that!

He said what was added in 1.07 is already in his cfwYou going to update this to 1.07?
I have no such issue and I'm using windows..Does anyone else have the issue with files not appearing in the EZFLASH even though the files are on the SD Card?
I have done everything suggested, made sure its not marked as archived, not read-only, moved all the games so its less than 50 games per folder. Still doesnt show up most of the games.
Edit: I got them all to work by using linux, moving whole folder of files off my sd card then moving it back to the same place. This means that there are issues with the Omega reading files copied from a windows system.
Hi
I recently bought a EZ Flash Omega, using it on my GBA SP
Resident Evil Gaiden is not playing properly, text, sprites, art and cutscenes are all over the place.
Has anyone experianced this, is there a a fix or is there a spacific Rom... any help would be great.
I only got this thing for some pokemon games and Resident Evil Gaiden, I mostly only will be playing GBC games
Any help would be great
Thank you
So I just decided to take the plunge, and threw my ROMs in a ROM folder in SYSTEM. But because I did it on an Android phone via OTG, it added an Android folder along with SYSTEM, BACKUP, and ezkernel.bin. But I went ahead and "updated" from the stock kernel to this custom kernel and it updated perfectly fine! Then I just threw the ROMs folder on the root for easier access, and everything works fine. All my saves and and save states were retained and loaded fine.Hi all, had a few questions regarding the installation of this kernel. Haven't been on GBATemp in years (since 2008, 2009 or so?), so excuse me if I screw anything up.
Currently getting ready to install this kernel and checking out the readme text file. It states that I need to place the system and backups folder onto the root of my SD, adding that I "NOT PUT ANYTHING ELSE IN THERE". However, this wording is confusing me.
So is it saying that on the root of my SD, only three files can exist - "SYSTEM", "BACKUPS", and "ezkernel.bin"? Or is it saying on initial install, nothing can be in the SYSTEM and BACKUPS folder?
And on the topic of file structure, is there a recommended place to put your ROMs and other files? On the stock kernel, I just have a folder on my root that I dump all my ROMs to. Can this also be the case for this kernel, or is there a particular place I need to store those ROMs?
Also, a little nitpicky but would it be possible to add the various versions to the GitHub releases page? I find it difficult to navigate the forums looking for the newest version, or having to check the edit date of the OP to see what the newest version is. Not too needed but would be nice. Feel free to ignore if you think it's too much work, haha.
Thanks!
Resident Evil Gaiden has nothing to do with the EZ-Flash Omega in any way its a GBC game so that all relays on Goomba if u just wanted to play GB/GBC games should of bought a EZ-Flash Jr.
I seem to be having an issue with Gameboy Advance thumbnails while using the latest kernel. I followed the steps provided. It doesn't matter what I try, it always says "Image not found." for all of my thumbnails. I have the IMGS file saved on the root of the SD Card. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. Thumbnails loaded for me just fine before installing this custom kernel. And from all the other youtube videos I've seen about this kernel, thumbnails seem to work just fine for them. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. Help is appreciated!
From what I've read, the issue is that GBA's allow you to play GB and GBC games because on the GBA motherboard, there's the processor for the GBC. Hence, it's not emulation or anything, it's literally just a GBC alongside the GBA. But in order to know which mode you want to boot into, there's a physical switch in the cartridge slot that pushes in when you want to go into GBC mode. Thanks for the info, I have just ordered a EX-Flash Jr so will see how that works out...
I did not know there was a diffrence between the two I thought that the EX-Flash Jr would use Goomba as well, I honestly don't know much about these things... I just want to play my old games without using the cartriges to preserve them.
Thank you
sorry for posting here, I created a post but nobody replied so posted here to get some feedback.
yes, also a different voltage is used for the gb carts and gba carts!
Since the GBA flashcarts can't physically push in that switch, they can't utilize the GBC processor. So the flashcarts have to stick with emulation.
No because it has a different interfaceCan someone port this theme over to the EZ FLASH IV please? It's beautiful.
Ask @Sterophonick as it's his theme and u going to use latest fw for EZ-Flash IV?If someone gives me the BMP files, I can do it myself.
