It's possible to pointer search on Cheat Engine, but the powerful tools for that ('Find what writes to this address' and 'Find what accesses this address') require the debugger to be attached. Since the game is not actually running on the PC, we can't attach debugger. These are the most powerful ways to pointer search with Cheat engine, but they require the game to be running on the PC, not a dump of the RAM.
I might show off the "Scan this address for pointers" feature. That is similar to how TempAR searches, but you add 1 dump at a time and "refresh" the list, weeding out stale pointers each time. So instead of hundreds of stale pointers and a few good ones, you're left with a smaller list of probably valid pointers.
We have other tools that already can pointer search, so that wasn't my priority. But, if y'all want to know how to pointer search with CE, I certainly can show you. The Pointer searcher on CE is NOT very user friendly, though... it's PACKED with options, many of which are not useful to pointer searching a RAM dump...
