Hardware Can sd2vita work like a regular ps vita memory card out of the box without any homebrew crap?

Nothing's changed again, ps tv isn't detecting anything, I only see "Add Device"

try connecting the pstv and the pc directly via an ethernet cable. this works with qcma. you may need to bridge connections in network settings on the pc.

You mean put one end to the ps tv and the other one to pc while both being connected to the wi fi? I cloud do that but it's getting late for me so I'll go to sleep and leave that for tommorow

yes, but I don't believe wifi will work while you're doing that. you can remove from bridge after you're doing. I've done this before when my pstv and my computer were in separate rooms (very long cable). wifi can be unstable especially if you're backing up 100GBs+.

nm, I see you're talking about the vita. usb connection?

if you have trouble with a usb cable, try toggling smb 1.0 on/off. it's off by default with windows 10. you need smb 1.0 with micro sd manager on the 3ds and windows explorer for the 360 and possibly ps3. the systems are just too old. the vita connection will work with smb 1.0 off, but when I was testing it, it ceased working immediately after enabling smb 1.0. disabling it didn't fix it for some reason, so I had to reflash a disk image after that test. I too had major trouble with it, but not really anymore.

the cma id is taken from the system.dreg in vd0. it's tied to the account id, but I don't really know how, 'cause my account id wasn't in the system.dreg. changing the cma id in the system.dreg will force you to reformat the memory card. it may be due to the id.dat (on the memory card), which contains your account id. qcma will make the correct folder, but changing the cma id will force a format at next boot. I was never able to connect to qcma without an account. if it's like the ps3, the account id will be all 0s if you've never signed into psn. it stands to reason that the cma id would also be all 0s or for it to simply not work. there's very little information about this procedure on vitadevwiki.

Update to 3.70, install Trinity > Modoru downgrade to 3.60, install Henkaku > Enso
...definitely an easier process than getting H-encore working on a PSTV.
I was thinking about that too... Things just got too complicated. Guide on vita hacks guide seems pretty long, just tell me one thing: Is there anything similiar to final he in the proccess that would stop me from progress? Just to make sure before updating.

I took a look at the guide and I found this section that's really similiar to whole final he thing:
Section I - Backing Up
  1. Open QCMA Settings on your computer
  2. Navigate to the “Other” tab
  3. Make sure “Use this version for updates” is set to FW 0.00 (Always up-to-date)
  4. Launch the Content Manager application on your device
  5. Select “Copy Content”
  6. Select “PC”
  7. Select the method you wish to use to connect to QCMA
  8. Select / register your computer if prompted
    • If you encounter a message instructing you to update, reboot your device and try again
    • If you still encounter this message, follow the instructions on Blocking Updates and try again
    • If you still encounter this message, enable Flight Mode in the System Settings and try again (this will not work on PS TVs)
    • If your device is not detected over USB on Windows, install QcmaDriver_winusb and try again
  9. Select “PS Vita System -> PC” on your device
  10. Select “Applications”
  11. Select “PSP™/Other”
  12. Select the PSP/minis game you downloaded
  13. Select “Copy”
  14. Select “OK”
    • The demo will be backed up to your computer
    • This process might take some time
  15. Close the Content Manager application on your device
Will it work on ps tv through wi fi when I will be logged in? I'm just afraid that it won't work like final he and auto-h-encore did
