Why do you guys like PSVD? Just because you can or you use the gamecard slot often?

Isn't it a pain for FTP'ing stuff instead of just popping out microSD and transferring from a computer for faster io?

Nope, you can mount the ux0 partition via vitashell, so technically you never need to open the vita. The PSVSD open up the SD2Vita for something else.

right but isnt it painfully slow be it ftp or usb mode from vitashell, vs. popping out the sd card and transferring directly from computer?

64 when I still had one, never actually filled it up but it did always feel tight (in great part due to my 36 GB and counting photo library)

actually, a usb connection through vitashell has a bug. the pspemu folder will appear blank. I discovered this when using psp content manager. you can alphabetize everything in adrenaline instantly. the app only needs to look in a folder with a similar structure as the psp, so use the pspemu folder as the base/root.

Still using my official Sony 32GB card, with plenty of space. Why would anyone need more?

I tend to manage my space like this as well and delete games I don't play anymore and add the ones I play when needed. I store anything big on hard drives.

For me there is no bug with the pspemu folder...

I have over 100 physical Vita games, plus a ton of digital purchases so that almost fills the 400gb PSVSD

which leaves 256gb SD2Vita for PSP/PS1 games and old rom packs, it's really nice having so many years worth of video games I have loved playing on in the palm of my hand!

I transferred them to the SD card before installing into the Vita, if i ever need to transfer anything now the USB cable via Vitashell is fine.

I think Game streaming should work like this.... Local Hardware able the run the game fine, game engine and common assets stored locally, all FMV and music and textures could be streaming

Or free government supplied high speed internet be nice also. Like Obama care. Xdqwerty that's cool, its time consuming but rewarding once done or playable, to see what you've made from scratch. Animations take forever, but worth it.

    @BigOnYa,
and the visual aspect of the game is quite crude (the sprite that looks best is that of the protagonist just because he is a stickman with sunglasses)

There is a bullets behaviour you assign to your character, that makes the code easier, under "behaviours"
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
i meant that when the character is pointing to the right, the bullets spawn where they should, but when he is on the right, they move to the right but the spawn point is incorrect
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Itch.io has lots of free assets also. Under the bullets behavior tab, there is a "rotate bullets" option, can try that. Or in the code can try
    - fire bullet Player.X(PlayerDirection)

That's cool tho, I'm proud of you going back to it, not giving up. It is difficult at first to learn, but fun once you get the hang of it. I think I've watched every tutorial video there is, but I still struggle sometimes to get stuff to work right. But gotta keep trying dif things, and eventually you will get it right.
