I think everyone should have an opportunity.
But why isn't the code public?

It started out open source, a copy of the very early source is available here: https://github.com/tiliarou/sysnut

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

On 7.0.1 using Atmosphere, it fails to use the .tik, Goldleaf keeps asking for exactly 26.96 GB no matter what NSP i use

Is this a legit eshop title? or is it a converted XCI? The program will ignore the ticket in the NSP if no NCA's are installed that have title rights enabled.

It specifically says .tik failed to install.

lol @ all the hate.
It's a great installer and still ahead of it's competition. No reason to keep up with all the drama. Use it, or don't. Just like TX' products.
Barely. Goldleaf will make it pointless when it gets 7.0 support (it even has beta builds with 7.0 support already). I just don't see the point in this installer.

It has FTP/HTTP support. Crucial for my use-case. But for others it's a less important feature I suppose.

I'm looking for the best option on 7.0.1 to install nsp via SD.
Will this app do the job?
I don't like usb method.

FTP speeds are mediocre at best (for now). So I don't really call it a pratical feature for moving NSPs.

I get 30 MB/s over FTP via ethernet, 15 MB/s via wifi.

Yes, this app installs from SD.

I get around 25MB/s which is similar to USB speeds without copying the files from my NAS to my computer first. As the space on my PC is limited it saves me loads of time and hassle. :) (Using an ethernet adapter of course)

I normally get 35-40MB/s using USB Install.

Everyone has wifi. 15 MB/s is fast enough for the convenience, especially since you can just queue up a bunch of installs, leave it in the dock, then just let it install everything unattended.
Yes. But not everyone has WiFi that goes 15MB/s. Most people can probably only get 2-5MB/s if they're lucky.

Everyone who runs this, gets at least 8 MB/sec even with poor reception unless they throw their switch in the microwave / faraday cage. You are comparing speeds to the poor ftpd implementation, which does indeed suck and get about 2 MB/sec. How this does not use that implementation. You should actually try using the software before you offer a critque of it :)
