He's always been closed source. DZ Tinfoil is closed source (for example).I think everyone should have an opportunity.
But why isn't the code public?

On 7.0.1 using Atmosphere, it fails to use the .tik, Goldleaf keeps asking for exactly 26.96 GB no matter what NSP i use
It specifically says .tik failed to install. It started out open source, a copy of the very early source is available here: https://github.com/tiliarou/sysnut

Is this a legit eshop title? or is it a converted XCI? The program will ignore the ticket in the NSP if no NCA's are installed that have title rights enabled.
Barely. Goldleaf will make it pointless when it gets 7.0 support (it even has beta builds with 7.0 support already). I just don't see the point in this installer.lol @ all the hate.
It's a great installer and still ahead of it's competition. No reason to keep up with all the drama. Use it, or don't. Just like TX' products.

I do have them actually (afaik). Just incase I dont, where can I find them for v7.0.0?Oh, that usually means you do not have ES patches. Kosmos no longer includes the ES patches by default, you must manually install them.
FTP speeds are mediocre at best (for most people for now). So I don't really call it a pratical feature for moving NSPs.It has FTP/SMB support. Crucial for my use-case. But for others it's a less important feature I suppose.

I'm looking for the best option on 7.0.1 to install nsp via SD.
Will this app do the job?
I don't like usb method.
Not everyone has gigabit internet.I get 30 MB/s over FTP via ethernet, 15 MB/s via wifi.

I normally get 35-40MB/s using USB Install.I around 25MB/s which is similar to USB speeds without copying the files from my NAS to my computer first.
Yes. But not everyone has WiFi that goes 15MB/s. Most people can probably only get 2-5MB/s if they're lucky.Everyone has wifi. 15 MB/s is fast enough for the convenience, especially since you can just queue up a bunch of installs, leave it in the dock, then just let it install everything unattended.

Yes. But fast SD Cards are more avaliable and cheaper than fast WiFi.Not everyone has a really fast SD card. I have the 400GB sandisk, and it tops out around 30 MB/s.
