Nope, not at all. This way is far too hacky at the moment. Yes it will eventually get better but for now I’ll take my TX Pro. Also the TX way will be so much easier for my kids to use.

For me, until I can put a bunch of ROMS on my SD card, download the updates(and in some cases the rest of the game) off Nintendo's servers and play them, I'll stick with TX for now. I'm glad strides are being made, but I just want something simple that works. This looks like a lot of work, especially when you need to download the rest of the game in cases like L.A. Noire and DOOM.
Maybe everyone's trying on lower firmware instead of 5.1?

You’re correct, we should all bow down to you and rape ourselves to death for spending £40 on something useful. What a load of bollocks. It’s a choice people made to buy TX, I bought it because it’s a quick and easy way to load backups. We all knew that something would release today because well devs like to try and improve their e-peen. It’s just like og Xbox, I have softmod box and an Xecuter 3 modded box, so hey maybe I’ll use both soft and hard mods on Switch too, but I DO NOT regret spending £40 at all.

To play one game on here, you have to spoof an existing eshop game. You will not be able to download the rest of the game from Nintendo's servers that way. With TX, it acts as its own game(ala a SKY3DS or an ODE like the WODE) and therefore allows you to download any updates and or the rest of the data from Nintendo's servers. Also, with TX you can keep more than one ROM at a time and switch between them ala Gateway or WODE. So, for me, it's easier to use TX until either a backup loader is released that can act as a cartridge or something like MemeMenu that can install the actual eShop dumps.
Don't lie to yourself, people like you bought this expensive piece of junk because you can't wait any longer. Well now its come to bite you in the ass, but you can't feel it because TX has made you all docile.
I congratulate TX on being able to fool those into thinking they are the only way to play pirated games. They must've made a nice chunk off you sheep.

At the end of the day you are still getting free games for a small compromise with a huge payoff (before getting banned) so does it really matter which way you do it?

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.+1 -

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60
