Question Can you block/ignore/hide users here?

I've been reading this forum for years and I finally broke down and made an account.
I realize this is a pretty popular forum that attracts a broad swath of people, probably because alot of information flows through here and it's easy to access....
But I made an account here just so I could hide/block trash users this board has collected.
Is there a way to do that?
I don't want to report users or posts, just basically hide their existence so I can read in ignorant bliss

I was trying to find it on the user page, which I did eventually find under "interact" just now.

Just don't forget there's more to this community than filtering out the trash. Be sure to interact once in a while too.

But how do we ignore some who has the following thing:

"Oops! We ran into some problems.
This member limits who may view their full profile."

Since nothing is shown when someone limits their profile viewing?

Same as how I said, click on their picture and hit ignore. You don't need to be on their profile to do so, you can do it from any forum post:

Just to illustrate. Can't say I have anything against IC_, but they were the first person I could find who had their profile locked down.
