Tutorial Simple Guide to Downgrading your 3DS

Will this guide work for my New 3DS XL 11.6? I’d like to downgrade to 11.3 and install the CFWs from there because the 3DS guide for 11.6 requires me to have another 3DS and some games which I do not have.

I recommend you get an R4i Gold 3DS RTS and use NTRBootHax as per the instructions available at https://3ds.guide . They cost roughly 20USD iirc.

Yes you can, you need a flashcart mentioned on the 3ds guide page

Haven't you read the giant red disclaimer? You should use the holy guide instead.

Your not going to. Downgrading requires CFW on the console already. There are no free ways to put CFW on the system over 11.4 and no way to downgrade. You go NTRboot on 3ds.hacks.guide. Or you can look at seedminer at https://gbatemp.net/threads/seedminer-single-system-dsiware-injection.495685/ for your options

3ds.hacks.guide just leads to a hardmod for me, which is why I asked because even if outdated I don't mind if it's a little trouble to get it to work. I'll check out that thread, thank you!

For MY ds, my option is a hardmod (or producing $15 to locate & buy a game).

Game, flashcard, I don't really care about a typo when either way it's money I don't have & you could have said something helpful. Instead I'm getting crap for asking a simple question. I've modded consoles myself, just not the newer hardware. Forgive me, Great Modding Master, for needing some guidance for once!

Someone else already helped me find a way to do this for $2, so really no further reply was necessary.

yes mostly dsi transfer was meant

and NTRBoot is better then DSI Transfer...spend 10 dollar on a flashcard ..use a magnet and..boom hacked

What I'm looking to do is be able to record my screen without a capture card, so I went ahead with this which did use the Sudoku, another guide, and part of 3ds.hacks.guide which someone walked me through when I didn't understand. (threads/seedminer-fc-and-mining-help.496114/) Now I'm just slowly adding back the other stuff I had like FreeShop & utilizing CIA and whatnot.

Hmmm...I figured as much. I found the Sodoku guide on the previously mentioned 3ds.hacks.guide. Anyway, glad you got it sorted.

Once you get all the basics set up, you can use NTR to do your streaming. There are guides around here somewhere that explain how to set it up.

I'll go into adult mode for a sec, though, and say that losing your temper at people who are trying to help you will not get you the help you need. Tempers are friendly people, but most of them don't take kindly to outbursts.

u can use NTR CFW for streaming. but u need a N3DS (as far as i know)
