Hello,
is anyone can do a new port of DeSmuME, who are regularly update, and which utilize vitaGL in order to boost performance ?

Because the actual ports of DeSmuME date of 2 years so i think the actual ports have been abandoned that's why i'm asking a new one.
It would be so great to have a fully working DS Emulator on the PS Vita/PS TV.

Also DeSmume is super bloated, even on High End phones runs like a crap, Medusa or MelonDS would be better candidates but since those two are in very early stage, you cannot spect for ports on the Vita or even on phones, at least not in 2018.
I don't agree with you, if you want an powerfull DS emulator drastic is the best on smartphone. So a port of any DS Emulator makes me happy.

DraStic is closed-source, so there is nothing can be made. Also I edited my previous post, give a read.
What do you want to say by saying hardware acceleration ? because it isn't written anywhere that this emulator use Hardware Acceleration. Also i think vitaGL is more powerfull than a simple hardware accelerator.

Lol nope, you clearly don't know what vitaGL is, it is just a wrapper to use Vita's HW Acceleration for easy 3D developement, it doesn't do any kind of black magic which does boost speed on 3D graphics, that is not how it works.

it's clearly sad because the ps vita is powerfull enough to run a DS Emulator has it full potential.

It would be interesting to see progress of it again. Though like all good things, we will need to wait or learn how to program ourselves.
yeah but personally I don't have enough time for now to learn how to program ps vita homebrew. But later i will try to learn and do some things.

Any people interested into build a new port of DeSmuME for vita can help me in order to program it.
Here is the project link: https://github.com/greggameplayer/DeSmuME-VITA
Currently i just have import DeSmuME Source Code

Not to be a joykill, but we need to realize when the Vita has been pushed to its limits.
If you really wanted a DS emulator, then DeSMuME is not a good place to start. It being a bloated mess built for X86 processors with a background of the developer making sly moves to inhibit (and/or outright prevent) DS preservation out of spite does not help its case.

Short and to the point, if you want a DS emu on Vita, look elsewhere for a base, like DraStic; at least that has a more rock-solid core that's built for the ARM processor (...assuming you can get past it being closed source, that is).

(Though first off, we would need to get a better footing in making use of the Vita's GPU, as Rinne's Quake 3 and the Xash3D port still shows more work needed to be done to make them playable.)

I know i can obtain the source code of Drastic but the project will be in private repository, this disturb me because currently I don't know well how to program ps vita homebrew, so i want help of others ps vita homebrew programmers and it will be really complicated in closed source in order to find some programmers interested by the project.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

But there is another problem in order to use it on the ps vita. I have to convert the code to C++ with jtransc because currently the source code of Drastic is program in Java

No, you can't.

Then don't even try, porting an emulator is harder then making a simple homebrew.

Nobody will help you if you don't have a code base made BY YOUR OWN, also you need to know code basics in order to get help.

Yes, you can obtain a source code of an APK just search on the internet.
