Greetings everyone
i recently got a modded Wii U with Haxchi while using wup installer for games, everything is fine and even easy to access those games installed in the system menu, only problem i'm facing is anything required a CFW like DLC and VC games as i need to run a signature patch for it everything time for the game to work which i think it will be complicated for my 5 years old daughter to do those things by herself everything she turn on the console and lets say for example she want to play Mario kart 8 with DLC installed and the game won't open.
i know CBHC is the best solution but i rather not to play with that for any silly reason might happen to the DS game or to the NNID if anything got corrupted for some reason (yes i don't trust digital world).
Now my question is: Is there a simple way to apply any signature patch without the need to access the HBL?
i don't want anyone to miss with he apps inside, so i dragged Haxchi to the last menu and kept it inside a folder :P

thank you and sorry for the bad English.

No, I'd recommend just installing cbhc as after its ran you don't need to do anything like go through Haxchi or HB to load the cfw.

Then why are you using a computer? :P
In all seriousness, installing CBHC over a fully working Haxchi installation is really not much than installing a system update. Just use the Parental Controls to keep your little daughter's account out of the Data Management, System Format, and Account Management, and you'll be fine.

i know parental controls will prevent all the problems but what about corruption of the DS game, you know we always get corrupted data for unknown reason and that may have a very low chance to happen, if my NNID may get deleted, suspended or unlinked will that effect the DS game installed in the WiiU?

just edit the config of haxchi that it will load signpatch in default.
download sigpatcher2sysmenu or something that will return to sysmenu
and simply tell your kid that if a game doesnt start they just have to start haxchi first.
worked like this for months.

for example here's my config.txt

Code:
a=fw.img
b=wiiu/apps/homebrew_launcher/homebrew_launcher.elf
default=wiiu/apps/sigpatcher2sysmenu/sign_patcher.elf

Maybe it might be easier just to buy the few DLC's your 5 years old daughter actually wants to play?

You could always inject roms in to VC games if she want's something different to play.

The above would probably be the easiest option until a better / safer hack comes along for the Wii U if Haxchi is a concern.

With the DLCs you only need to have 1 legit and the rest will work as long as the ticket is in the right order.

There is the Mercedes Benz free for Mario kart for example.

As for VC games you could set up hakchi to launch loadiine and launch VC from there.

That's the solution I would go with if you want to avoid CBHC

I will say this once , stop worrying that much and go ahead with chbc , take out all the juice of your Wii U , if there's a chance of corrupting cbhc there's also a chance of nand corruption before that so the ones without chbc have some risk too lol but seriously just enjoy your Wii u that's the important thing and let things go don't overthink this that much...

Thank you so much I didn't know you can set haxchi that way, this will make my life easier.

That's interesting, is there a guide for the DLC? I never know loadiine can launch VC games.
