If and when you find it, mind dropping a link in here? I'm sure plenty of people here could use it.
Thanks man! Not sure if I'm going to use this or not. With this new game not being locked to 8-way aim, this swap would actually be kind of a nerf to your aiming ability. Still glad to have this for a few other games, though!I edited my previous post. Better have it here too.

Fair warning, spoilers ahead, but the game completely nulls one of your complaints in this post, you'll see. If you don't care about spoilers, look below. My thoughts so far: using the Circle Pad feels uncomfortable, 2D Metroid is better with a D-Pad. But, the Infinite Bomb Jump is back! But, Wall Jumping is nerfed, it forces you in the opposite direction.
I completed the first area. They changed a bit compared to the original. So far the game feels like a reimagination of Metroid 2.i have not compared it to the gb how has the layout of the levels changed
Metroid Prime 4 for the Switch.Do you think this will ever come to the switch?
Argh! Why am I stuck already?!
I just killed my first Metroid brain thingy, and I'm in the next section. There's some statue that doesn't seem to do anything, some block I can't get past, and some weird yellow panels on the wall that I can't wall jump on.
Can anyone help me please?

There is an ability called spider ball that strait up lets you climb walls and ceilings in ball form. Wall jumping on the same wall is no longer needed.
The statue shows you how many metroids you have to kill, in order to lower the purple acid. The "yellow panels" are slippery substances, which prevent wall jumping and spider ball crawling. Because the devs thought it would be a good idea to restrict the use of those abilities. I couldn't say which block you are stuck at, I just got the Space Jump, and everything in between is a fucking blur. Hint: This game does NOT give the Space Jump as early as AM2R does. Just use the Scan Pulse Aeion to highlight breakable blocks. I feel like some veterans would say that you do not actually need the Scan Pulse, but I found this game kind of disorienting, so I went ahead and used it.Argh! Why am I stuck already?!

If by "Metroid brain thingy" you mean the original Metroid form, the larva, then you are at the end of the game. After you kill all the larvas, you have to face the Queen.I'm just after that. I lowered the water. The statue is kinda Jesus-y looking.
It think it's already leaked. You can even find a pirated version of it onlineI saw an unboxing video today of the Samus Returns Special Edition. I wonder is it likely that the game will be leaked before release?

This is exactly where I was stuck, but I figured it out. There's a spot a bit left of there where you can shoot out the floor.
I started playing about 24 hours ago, got the Space Jump about 4 hours ago from now. Yeah, games like this are like alcohol/caffeine to me, I go hard. Funny thing, I don't drink alcohol, and actual caffeine does not affect me.Prepare to get plenty more stuck this isnt a game to be speed ran . Unless of course you already know what to do exactly
