12000mAH in a case-shaped battery, offering 12 extra hours of battery life. Has its own kickstand. $85 if you fund it now, and it does charge other devices as well.

Dude, like super old news at this point.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Like funding ended almost 2 months ago at this point, and there were posts about it back in early april, maybe earlier

My bad, this is first I've heard of it and there were no other posts in this sub about it when I did a search.

Seems legit to me, but it's just a portable charger in a non-traditional form factor. Not something incredibly new or innovative.

A battery case for the Switch, which is made by a manufacturer with no prior experience, plans to deliver in August... Still no prototype btw.

Sounds like at best you might get some sort of fire hazard mailed to you in a couple years, and at worst they'll just take your money and run.

If you want one you should be getting the Nyko one, legit company, their device is cheaper, and no risk cause you'll definitely be getting the product you paid for.

There's a shallow mindset if I've ever seen one.

There's a naive mindset if I've ever seen one.

I'm waiting for reviews before even going near it. I still don't believe in the product.

EDIT: Also, Indiegogo is the new favorite place of people with no clue. Since they don't demand any prototypes.
All the images of the "product" are just a 3D printed case, looks really flimsy at best.

i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
