This is something I have always noticed with Nintendo. After buying their handhelds (always) first like the DSi or such, the Wii came out. Then with the 3DS the Wii U came out and now we have the Nintendo Switch. A console hybrid between a hand held and a gaming system, however like all consoles (GB, GBC, GBA, DS, DSI... , and 3DS.) No one knows what Nintendo will do next.
Personally, I believe Nintendo won't make the Switch a "handheld" and then make a new console right after that. However I can see why people may still have their doubts since they follow their own formula for handheld gaming and non-portable systems.
Just looking for other peoples opinions... And because people were extremely curious how the PS3 and Switch pared up in my previous thread with various results.
