Whether they'll be good, that's another thing.Plenty of games will be made from Nintendo. It'd be idiotic to only produce first party games the first year. I'm sure Nintendo has plenty up their sleeves to announce.
Not that, but spamming first party won't last Nintendo through the entire 2018.MFW Yil thinks all first party games that'll ever exist for the Switch are already announced
Nintendo can at best keep up til Winter 2018 and I believe that should be over 7 million with the supply issue in mind.
Then it's kind of up to third parties.

I'd love to see a new F-Zero game, but on the other hand, I'm pretty sure it would have the name "F-Zero" but a gameplay that has nothing to do with it. So if that's the only options, I'd rather them not do a new F-Zero.Nintendo keeps on bragging about the "80+ games in development" so hopefully they'll release those games and exclusives too.
Here's exclusives I'd like to see return:
- F-Zero
- Metroid
- Kirby
- Donkey Kong
- Earthbound
- Kid Icarus
- Star Fox
- Advance Wars
- Yoshi
- Super Smash Bros. (a deluxe version of the WiiU version with all the DLC content)
- Pokémon (a traditional RPG, not that Rock/Paper/Scissor game called Pokkén Tournament)
Besides Captain falcon being incredibly hot I don't see f-zero becoming a fighting game. And it needs to compete with Mario Kart 8 and fast RMX which means screwing over themselves or an indie with good standing.I'd love to see a new F-Zero game, but on the other hand, I'm pretty sure it would have the name "F-Zero" but a gameplay that has nothing to do with it. I hope we don't get Tomodachi life 2, the first one was shitThis thread might as well be called " things we want Nintendo to make for the switch in 2018 but won't make and instead give us something weird like more Tomodachi life 2"
That is true for the Wii U but the Wii had tons of 3rd parties and was incredibly successful.I am agreeing with you. I will wait and see after E3 for the 3rd parties. That's my main concern before we can decide to purchase the Nintendo Switch this fall. Wii U was the reason we avoided and not purchased it at all due to the poorly 3rd parties.

I do not care about the first party games because 3rd party is the reason the console must be successful. Look at Wii and Wii U, without 3rd parties and they are the fail!
The gimmick was more appealing and it was full of casuals. That is true for the Wii U but the Wii had tons of 3rd parties and was incredibly successful.
Lol, they probably won't go this farBesides Captain falcon being incredibly hot I don't see f-zero becoming a fighting game. And it needs to compete with Mario Kart 8 and fast RMX which means screwing over themselves or an indie with good standing.
I was saying F zero would take away sales from fast RMX which will sour standing with indie devs and cannibalize Mario Kart 8.Lol, they probably won't go this far
But yeah, Fast RMX was what I was thinking about. To people who never played F-Zero, it looks like F-Zero. To people who played it, it has nothing to do with it. So if a F-Zero sequel had gameplay similar to Fast RMX, all F-Zero fans would be disappointed (plus why would people buy it instead of Fast RMX (apart from Captain Falcon being hot ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°))?).
Yeah, I guess what people are thinking. "Cancer fanbase, just like Melee fans who can't play newer Smash games". But yes and no. "Yes" as in "yes, same case, change the gameplay and people who liked the old one would complain". "No" as in "that's not limited to Melee fans, just see how a lot of people don't like that the FF7 remake is an action-RPG".
