Does anyone know how to edit.dat files or a tool that can edit general wii u game file?
I want to be able to replace game files using jgecko but it would be an obsolete function to me if there isn't some editor that I can use. Thank a ton.

Ok so I have made an instant stop, instant acceleration, and instant reverse code . It's funny what you can do with one code.
(First of all, nice job w/ the codes) And i was wondering if there was any way to make the instant reverse work online? I'm a FTL hacker and I thought it would be cool to go back and forth form place to place throwing bombs and stuff :) thanks

I have to know something: apart from skoolzout, since I don't believe he has the game necessary, has anyone else had trouble with my Total Banana Modifier for DKC: Tropical Freeze? I know it works fine for me... my next project, I'm thinking a "Banana Juice Timer" pointer.

@0100100001001001 Again, the Guardian Beam's actor's name is known as "GuardianBeam". You know how you can modify weapons by name, right? Well, just open Panda's trainer, rename the weapon you've selected to Drop and are about to Drop to "GuardianBeam", and voila. I should warn you that you can't just fire the beam anywhere you please like the Guardians can, however...

Thanks for the info, I will try it when I get a chance. I'm going to try equipping it as a shield instead of a weapon! BeamShield!!! :gun:

Well... seems like my Banana Juice Timer Modifier project might have to be put on hold. Allow me to explain... it works by Float data (e.g. 40000000), but the problem is I can't pause the game to figure that out and the game can't possibly be active to figure out where the offset is, either. I know it's in the 1D000000's. No, no, no... instead here's what happens when I freeze the game via JGecko...

So, I bring up the Threads first and after I do that, I select a level with the Banana Juice ready. You following me so far? Well, just like with the Bananas, this data too requires a pointer/I need to memorize where the offset is like I did with the T.T. Timer, so I do a Search with Unknown data, but before that I freeze the game with Threads after I get hit. As the timer continues ticking downwards, I do less than searches and freeze the game each successive time, but guess what happens..

After every few times, IT'LL FREEZE THE WII U, FORCING ME TO REBOOT IT. This happened every time without fail so far and it's irritating, that and sometimes, it won't unpause at all or get the game stuck. Now, I know well enough that in the past, this didn't happen so frequently.

Edit: So, yeah... it's not happening now, but it will.

Edit 2: Guess what? It happened again.

Hey.. welcome to down here at the bottom of this long code, glad you could make it.

Now, to use this thingy you need to first put it into jgecko and then turn the code on..

if you're still here, well done. this isnt your first rodeo.

once the code is active press R+X to activate the code, (R+B deactivates the code)

once active, links coordinates will be locked in place and you can begin flying

All of the directions are based upon the compass, and not Link's direction, sadly. so its not super easy to pick up and use.

but anyways, so pressing forwards on the Left analogue stick would move you North, Down would be south, left = west, right = east...

i also incorporated diagonals too, soo upleft on the stick is Northwest and so on.

X lifts you up and B lowers you down,

Holding L makes you go Faster

the value in the second line is the default speed value that the code is based around, so you can change it to effect the overall speed of the freefly. its currently at 0.2 which i just recommend leaving it at unless you're really crazy

it isnt possible to go slower because the way Division works in computers means that if you divide your speed by 2, the result will always be 0 if your speed is less than 2. because the floating point division doesnt store remainders. and thus rounds it to 0.

so yeah. this is really cool for exploring out of bounds past where it says "You can not go any further"

its not a true noclip because link may still grab onto walls if hes facing them, in which case you have to press b to let go to continue flying, but most of the time you'll just fly right through everything.

you can stop reading now if you're just here for the code.. buh bye :3

if you're still here im curious if anyone has any suggestions on how to make this work based on the direction link's currently facing.

this code simply just adds and subtracts a little bit from link's coordinates value and writes them back to his current postion. pretty simple in concept but assembly is always fun trying to get to work correctly due to limiting ways to debug problems..

anyways in case you didnt know, this Pointer points to Link's Current coordinates

[439C0794] + 0x140

butttt if you did know that then maybe you didnt know that

this: [439C0794] + 0x164 -- seems to be links Rotation value, expressed as a float, where 1 is North and 0 is south, 0.5 is east and -0.5 is west... but sometimes the Negatives switch for some reason... no idea why so if anyone can think of a way using this.. let me know of just your concept and i could do the coding for it.

another interesting thing is thisssss: [439C0794] + 0x1B0

this address plus the 2 others just after it, appear to be Link's 3-Dimensional Velocities, so basically his speed in the X direction, speed in the Y direction, and speed in the Z direction. Which the combination of the three make a 3D Vector containing link's Velocity as a vector. This could maybe be used aswell to apply a velocity in the direction link's facing maybe using the previous address before... but again, using the values they give us, i have no idea how i could use them to apply motion to link in the direction he's facing.. so gimme your ideas if you have any on how this could be done. im decent at math-ish so feel free to use some sorta advanced vocabulary if you wish, but keep in mind i have to deal with standard numbers and floats soooo yeah. i dont know how "fun" it would be to do trigonometry in assembly... i.e. trying to take Sin and Cos etc of angles and stuff... soo try not to involve that if you can.

Well done if you read all of that, and A+ if you understood at all what i was saying.

Does someone have a code that can trigger a blood moon in Breath of the Wild with a push of a button?

Completely Silent/Stealthy [skoolzout1]

*enemies will never hear you approaching

Your stealth display will still show changes/fluctuations as if nothing was different, but you'll be able to run around and even whistle right behind enemies and they wont notice or even care,

they can still detect you if you touch them or walk into their vision.. i might work on finding something to accompany this code to make you 100% invisible,

but i think im going to take a break on the stealth/detection stuff, because this simple code took me forever to find the address for, purely because its a value expressed as a float between 0 and 1. and it jumps to 4 the second you start sprinting...... so it was a pain to find for some reason, because i was expecting float values above 1 instead of between it and 0.

also, this appears to be a static address but if it ever stops working i guess someone can let me know and ill find a pointer for it.

Just wondering if you think you'll try to make the 100% invisible code? If you can make it, I think it has the potential of being one of the coolest codes in the game. Thinking about it reminds me of the stealth camouflage in the Metal Gear games lol!

Nice work on the free fly/no clip code! That one will definitely add some replay value.

Ive been trying to get make something like this, however blood moons are hard to search for. since they happen very rarely and are over instantly.

Id love to try and make a code that makes you 100% invisible, but i really dont see that being possible without the use of Breakpoints. this is because every single enemy in the game pretty much, has a "I found Link" value associated with them. Firstly, this would be super hard to find i would imagine just for one single enemy, but then once you found it, that would only effect that one particular enemy. and even if you found every single enemies "Awareness of link" address, they'd all change as soon as they respawned or you left an area and come back..

but with a breakpoint, you could find the enemies Awareness value, and trace it back to the actual Game Instruction that is responsible for it, and change the instruction in a way that makes it so they never become aware of you. and since Every enemy is really an object of a class, this would effect every enemy in the game. This is how it would have to be done,i dont see how else its possible.

Unless there's something that we could change about Link, but theres no stealth equipment or anything that makes link more than just Silent, so i think theres no other way than what i described before.

Is there a code for Breath of the Wild that keeps the Hearts display hidden during gameplay?

Hearts disappear when you talk to a NPC or watch a cutscene... I'd like for them to only show up in the pause / inventory management / map screens.

If there is such a code, how would I use it with hard drive loading?
Can anyone tell me if this is possible or not? Thanks.

Just out of curiosity... what do you think the likelihood of ever being able to use breakpoints for the Wii U are? Me, I'm starting to doubt it because I haven't heard about progress being done on that.

its possible, the only issue i belieeeeve, at this moment is figuring out which thread is most responsible/fully responsible for all of the game addresses, since there are multiple threads its hard to know which one(s) are manipulating the games addresses.

Has a "Near Malice" code for the Master Sword's charge been made for Breath of the Wild?

Changing the value for the weapon doesn't help of course. The Akkala Tower would probably be a good place to start, just jump down to one
of the lower platforms at the base of the tower. There's a spot where you can switch this "effect" on and off just by moving left or right.

I'd go about finding the values myself but I'm not very familiar with anything outside of Tsearch. lol

I'd also like to see a Wolf Link spawn code. I wonder if it could be hacked around to be used with other models and whatnot.

There is a code now, lol. Thanks for the tip with Akkala tower.

Then I guess it's up to you to find a way to spawn wolf link with any amiibo lol. It's pretty hard to attempt that for me without the amiibo. If do ever decide you ever want to attempt something like this I think a good place to search for things related to amiibos would be the 4010000-40800000 range and also the 42400000-44000000 range. Since I found my infinite amiibo code address in the 40100000 area and itchyowed I believe was the one that found some related amiibo data in the 43800000-ish area. As well as the amiibo spawning coordinates are in that range too

Ah, but therein lies the problem, my good sir; Wolf Link is the only Zelda amiibo I have, so...

Two reasons:

1.) The Hearts burn in on the plasma HDTV I play on, even if I screen wash for 5 minutes out of every hour. It's really annoying.
2.) I really like playing games with minimal HUDs, and there's no need for the Hearts to always be visible.

If you (or anyone) could make this code, I'd really appreciate it! :)

you don't need another Zelda amiibo, I only have a Zero Suit Samus amiibo (because I luv her <3) and it just spawns food, so if you have any other amiibo at all it should be of some use, because they spawn different things, so you could try switching between the two and seeing what's different, and using my infinite amiibo code should help lots

Hmm well.. You must have a cheap TV lol. Weird. Anyways, If I have time and don't forget I'll give it a shot sometime soon.
