Gaming What 5 games would you like to see coming for the switch?

You envision arcade games better suited for consoles? That negates pretty much 98 percent of all console games of the last few generations. Are you fine with that? Is that seriously your opinion?

I feel a wee bit more than two percent of games in the last few generations were not simulations. Specifically when it comes to flight, though, I do seriously feel arcade type experiences make more sense on a console with the type of controls you'd typically have.

X-Wing actually is classified as a space sim although it's a bit more restrictive than Wing Commander. Have you even played these games? Just what would you classify as a space sim in 1990-1994 if not these, the games that started the space sim genre??

My comment about Star Wars' flight model not being a shining example of space sim has to do with Star Wars' space flight being modeled after atmospheric flight rather than space navigation.

Granted most games back then don't use Newtonian style physics which I'm actually glad because we all know how well "Space Shuttle: A Journey into Space" and "Star Raiders" did.

Hell even now, they pretty much suck. I haven't touched Elite Dangerous in ages. Yet I still play Freelancer from time to time.

1- Pokemon game like pokemon colosseum and XD with actual graphics and no gym leaders and such.

2- smashbros switch it will happen eventualy i bet.

3-Paper mario collection including all paper mario games from n64 to wiiu one.

4-Mario sunshine/luigi mansion hd remake

5-New metroid game i dont care if its prime style or 3rd paerson or whatever , we need a new metroid, since metroid completely skipped the wiiu :S

1) Golden Sun 4- I got the original for Christmas and loved each one that was released afterwards. This needs to happen.
2) Advanced Wars- Love this series. All of them have been amazing except Days of Ruin for 3ds.
3) Castlevania Harmony of Despair 2 (Or a 2D Castlevania with online multiplayer)- I loved the original even though I know many didn't get into. I want a difficult game like this with many different characters with very diverse styles.
4) Pokemon Maker- Create your own Pokemon story and share your games online. You could create events or create What Ifs. If they don't do this, they at least need to do Pokemon Showdown for Switch. Many people want to get into competitive Pokemon but don't want to breed for hours on end.
5) Nintendo Crossover Game- Think Super Smash Bros but in RPG form or action form. Gameplay would change in each new world slightly. There would be a ton of characters from different gaming worlds who interact. This game could be 2D, 3D, or both depending on what worlds you are in. I'm thinking something like that old TV show captain N. Maybe you could even be a new character who would get the ability to summon enemies you have defeated but there would only be classic Nintendo characters.

I WANT GAUNTLET! What the hell happened to Gauntlet series? Where did it go? PS4 has Gauntlet, why not Nintendo?!?! Gauntlet Legends on N64 was SICK! I think the only multiplayer game that I enjoyed more was Goldeneye...

Are you referring to the newest Gauntlet game from Arrowhead and WB games? Because if so, it's not very good or much like the older Gauntlet games unfortunately. Hopefully the IP is given to another developer for the next Gauntlet game, if it happens at all.

I can't limit myself to 5, so I'll just say that I'd love to see my home menu one day look like this:

Most of them are actually confirmed, rumored and likely, or at least being considered (such as Rocket League). But I'm aware that some games like Overwatch or GTA 5 are probably pretty unlikely to appear on the Switch, but even still I don't think they're outside of the realm of possibilities either. I think if Nintendo does indeed go through with a VR unit for the Switch, a launch title for it would be a Metroid Prime game. Hopefully such a game would still be playable with a traditional controller as well though. I have no idea what the new Fire Emblem will be called, but I found fan art with that title which sounded cool, so I used it as a placeholder for whatever the new Fire Emblem will be called. Also I don't know if the Rune Factory series is dead or not, but I really hope its not and that they consider releasing a new game for the Switch, that would be amazing.

I think Square confirmed that 15 isn't going to be coming to the Switch. But I think there have been a lot of hints that the 7 remake will be coming to the Switch in addition to the PS4.

I got a feeling they don't use the same engine. XV had been in development for a very long time, it started as a FFXIII spinoff title for the PS3. While its possible that when they started work on the 7 remake they used the engine they had long been working on for XV, but since its a title based on an older game, that might not have made all that much sense either. I dunno, we'll see, but it honestly wouldn't surprise me to only see the 7 remake make it to the Switch, but not 15.

I'm gonna be pessimistic and not expect either to come to Switch for now given that Squeenix is already working on other games for it. Maybe after the PC versions arrive, if that ever happens...
