Well just because a bunch of idiots start calling the sky green instead of blue doesn't mean I have to but hey that's just me I guess.

I'm not saying that the newer definition is something to happily embrace, just that its a fact that there is nothing technically wrong in using both those words I was talking about in the newer seemingly wrong ways that have spread over time, at least according to the latest English dictionaries.

List is bit small IHMO, top ten would gave us more options.

4. Castlevania - 2D revival done right

Konamis kille off Castlevania, Koji Igarashi has moved on from konami and is working on Bloodstained (spititual successor of castlevania)

There's hope for a Xenosaga port.

Which has already been confirmed to release for the Switch so I should cross it away from my previously posted list.
Metroid
Bloodstained ritual of the night (confirmed to come)
CrossCode
Touhou /s
Project Mirai/Diva Switch (lol)

That ofc, in addition to Xenoblade 2 and etc that has already been announced. I know I don't ask for much or for super AAA, but those are the kind of things I would like to have for now.
Go forth IGA! (fanboy logs off)

We need Nier: Automata.

Nintendo pays Square and Square pays their developers @ PlatinumGames = Nintendo Switch owners happy with 30 FPS.

Rogue Squadron wasn't a space sim. It was quite different compared to X-Wing/Tie Fighter series. I would rather have X-Wing especially with the updated xwvm libraries and visuals. That's just me though.
I envision more arcadey experiences being better suited for consoles. Also, Star Wars' flight model isn't exactly a shining example of space sim, anyways.

I'm looking forward to Star Citizen for my Space Sim fix.

That isn't a sequel. It was renamed in the US to sell more and the original name in Japan is Super Mario: Yossy Island
I hated yoshi, I remember when I first loaded that game up. I was like, wtf is this shit. My stupid sister bought it.

You envision arcade games better suited for consoles? That negates pretty much 98 percent of all console games of the last few generations. Are you fine with that? Is that seriously your opinion?

X-Wing actually is classified as a space sim although it's a bit more restrictive than Wing Commander. Have you even played these games? Just what would you classify as a space sim in 1990-1994 if not these, the games that started the space sim genre??
