What's the point of making a big deal about BotW footage and hype it up if this release is so specific with its requirements to just benchmark BotW , literally 90% of Patreons can't even pass the "Open your eyes" screen
And they got 10k monthly .. HOLY **** how can they be so okay with that

Weird, suddenly Cemu doesn't start for me anymore. Even in a fresh folder. I don't think I changed a thing. Could this have something to do with the online verification? But even if that failed, it would still start, right? :wtf:
When putting 1.7.2 (public build) there, it works... weeeird.

is my i7 3770k 4,2 ghz and gtx 980 ti enough for 4k cemu for games like zelda botw and co?

Yeah, it's fast enough for games when they're optimized in Cemu like Super Mario 3D World, Mario Kart 8, Donkey Kong, etc... but Zelda is not optimized, yet, and no high end computer would be able to play it at full speed at this time.

I actually kind of half way agree with you on this. Don't get me wrong the cemu devs deserve the money but I'm sure glad I didn't jump on the patreon band wagon for this release. I would be quite disappointed.

Odd how the specific version required here seems to be the pirate version that made the rounds recently. Oh sure if you live in Europe and can buy the European version you could dump that and download the appropriate update. Outside of Europe though it's the pirate version.

The DLC addition is why i got this build, mainly due to not wanting to mess with sig patches on my wii u and also the convenience of it. I'm surprised how hyped people where considering the state it was shown.

True it is surprising so many backed cemu for botw. It was shown running poorly with bad physics and bad audio. With only audio being said to be fixable by release. I guess it is Zelda though.

To clarify my previous post just in case someone misunderstands it. I meant if I had backed cemu on patreon for BOTW I would have been disappointing that I could only use the EUR version. Being that I'm in north America and have the North American version of the game.

What is the change log for the C version?
Fixes BOTW crashing for all versions.

# New in 1.7.3b/c:

JIT: Fixed potential softlock for busy-wait loops which use the LWARX/STWCX instructions
GX2: Fixed incorrect shader source generated for streamout write exports when the shader is optimized for float-only

I didn't rip my (sealed) copy of Zelda BotW, but the dump said it should work.

After the voice says "Open your eyes", I get a pale screen and it freezes.
Something I should take note of? (1.7.3 Patreon)

Is this the same for every AMD user?

I am trying to find someone with knowledge on that willing to help me
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I and Hayato warned him not to, but he won't listen
  • A @ ATEMVEGETA:
    @BigOnYa,
I don't listen? What didn't I listen at? I just want to know all the possible risks on that part
  • A @ ATEMVEGETA:
Hayato even said it's dangerous to backup the save files to CFW
  • A @ ATEMVEGETA:
how is this dangerous? A ton of people did this it's the most common thing to do with CFW
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
    Then do it

    dude, whatever
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Not trying to hate, I tried to help you in the switch noob thread by asking for you, but you don't want to accept the answers you got, so do whatever then.

@BigOnYa, Man, first of all thanks for your willing to help, much appreciated. But, it's not that I "don't want to listen", rather than I need soemone to EXPLAIN to me how and why all these are risky.

  • A @ ATEMVEGETA:
For example, HOW is is risky to get banned if you extract the save files to the CFW?
  • A @ ATEMVEGETA:
isn't this proccess be done while you're offline?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
We are not Nintendo, so we don't know exactly how/why/when they ban, but better to stay on the safe side and not do shady stuff, if you don't want to be banned. Hayato is one of the most knowledgeable ones here on the subject and I believe what he says.

    300 bucks hmmm lol
  • A @ ATEMVEGETA:
@BigOnYa, Yes ofc we don't know how Nintendo bans work, but if there are situations where a lot of people have tried safely then we can at least assume that this path is pretty much safe. To say don't try anything homebrew relative just to be safe forever is the easiest thing to say to someone. What I am trying to figure out here is with which cases and what actions got most of the people their bans for.
  • A @ ATEMVEGETA:
Most things I can find resulting to a ban is save-editing reasons, like Pokehex, etc, and going online afterwards.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
I'm almost certain fucking Google fibers modems blocking out PPPoE signals
