Yes, I just bought a truck, to haul stuff and to get me from A to B. It cost me $1500 safetied. I didn't build a truck because I have no interest in doing so. You see, you did it again, you assumed your world view is right, and anyone else is "just bitching".

I "chose" to buy the Switch and support Nintendo. I didn't "have" to. Even with the left joycon issues I am experiencing I am quite happy with it, I love it in fact. And I will be the first in line to buy v2.0. Without people like early adopters there would not be a v2.0.

Mmm, I somehow feel like you are assuming I didn't pay for my stuff. Well sir, most my family is deceased and I pay for everything with money I earn from getting off my ass and working hard.

Also, I don't see why people are complaining about the Wii U lifespan, it was almost as long as the original Xbox (which I also own). Unfortunately the graph only goes to 2015 but it is now 2017 so the Wii U is only slightly behind.

I am also the owner of a Dreamcast, I didn't cry and whine when it died. I just went out and bought a PS2.

Ant when my PS2 couldn't play newer DVD movies I didn't cry and whine, I went out and bought the Xbox DVD playback kit for my Xbox.

And secondly, as i said we are talking here about buying it NEW so why do you even talk about your ps2 and dreamcast lol.. read correctly instead of being deffensive..

in my last post i explained to you why people are complaining, i am not deffending it, i am just giving you the logical reasons why people complains. And why you say people shouldnt complain because of wiiU's lifespend? Dont you read and learn before posting? Nintendo clearly said the the 'nx' will not replace the wiiU and that the wiiU will keep supports, so people bought wiiUs, wich most of them would have not if they knew it before. Its all about them standing up for their promesses, instead of doing like Sean Murry.. Ninten just wanted to make sure to have ine last selling wave of the wiiU for holidays, anyway..

Stop deffemding and start reading correctly because it will not go anyware lol.. its always the same here, some people just keep defending themself with no interrest in 'updating' their opinion, but sometime you should change your opinion if you leanr or hear informations or details you forgot or didnt know.

I think that in retrospect, Nintendo should at least acknowledge that there are issues that need to be addressed, and release a statement and a replacement/repair service at no charge. Maybe this is why they pulled them off their store's site?

They pulled them due to stock, as per their official reply on the matter.

Give it time. It hasn't even been a week. It took longer for Samsung to acknowledge the exploding battery issue. Be patient, in the mean time do your best to handle your current situation. Be extra careful when docking, or run out and a get a protector like I did it's only 15$, or if you can't afford that steal a pair of your mom's or sister's pantyhose and put that over the front of the dock to add a layer of protection for now.

A replacement that's going to have issues within a week? Every product can break, but not every product can be good. My point still stands.

Here's a better way of looking at things, if everywhere you go smells like shit (aka Switch negativity) then maybe you should check your shoes (the switch itself)


Even with the left joycon issues I am experiencing I am quite happy with it, I love it in fact.
That is the saddest thing ive read in awhile, its like hearing someone justify an abusive boyfriend.

They certainly can't ignore the issue forever, especially since the launch itself has been one of their more successful launches in some time, at the very least, I did get a screen protector that seems to be doing the job; that's one issue neutralized.

Sometime ago I bought a game advertised as 'BRAND NEW' and when it arrived, it was a used game re-sealed, long story short - I complained, sent it back and got my money. Left a negative review on those buggers Truspilot page.

You paid for it so you are entitled to your opinion and to criticise it if there are flaws with it.

I mentioned my other consoles because each one had their own unique set of issues just like the Switch, I guess my point is that what we are experiencing is nothing new so I don't understand why people are getting so bent out of shape. I do now realize that most of the people are probably younger or quite new to buying electronics for themselves and haven't experienced the issues that come with it. Although the hate on the Switch seems to be greater than the sum of it's parts.

lol you're paying for a product that fully works and you get a buggy piece of **** that produces earrape noises and can't recognise its own cartridges? "Sucking it up" isn't really an option here, people are getting screwed over with a not-so-small amount of money. People have the right to complain.

Actually, car was very bad example... You know, you lose a arm when your phone explodes.
If you lose your steering wheel then goodluck not trying to have brain damage due to ramming into a car/tree etc.

I think the real issue here, is that you disnt explain correctly your point and now you are stuck in a deffending spiral.. i think you really wanted to say that you are personally tired of hearing people complain about the flaws, but now all you do is deffending the fact that if we have issue we should tell ourself 'well, its life' and no complain.. wich i think isnt necessarly what you first wanted to talk about.. now you just sound like a kid who.s hurt because people complain about your precious toy..

Yeah, but faulty phones do exist and they're a ticking bomb so tell that to them...

Well in your case I would definately return it. You are the 1% of people experiencing a problem. What is complaining to everyone all the time going to accomplish? I can see if you were unable to get a replacement at all then I would fight but otherwise you are expending energy and stressing yourself out for nothing.

I preordered my switch in January, Amazon shipped it on the 2nd of March for a 3rd of March delivery. It got lost in the mail, and didn't arrive until the following Monday. I didn't freak out, I went to EBGames to buy the console although they didn't have any Zelda games. So I went to Bestbuy to buy the game. Been enjoying it ever since. I will now be sending back the console I bought from amazon with the reason being it did not arrive on time. I will let them figure out why. I am not going to wage a war on them for it I have better things to spend my energy one.

That may be so but I think most people got my point.

From what I read the 5v2a car charger will keep it running but won't "increase" the charge while playing, for that you would need a 15v2a external battery pack or let it sleep to charge it.

It is funny reading posts from people that don't even own a Switch. They act like every one of them is broken. There are a small number of people that have problems and have posted online about it. The overwhelming majority of people have no problems. They are not all going to go online to post that their experience is great.

I'm not posting in any more of these threads. They are pointless. They have sold at least a million units and we have seen complaint videos from what - 10 or 20 people?

I'll now go enjoy playing my Switch.

But the burning question is, how long would replacing take? Would the newly sent units have the issues resolved? It's one thing for Nintendo to replace them, but quite another to ensure that the replacement is actually a replacement and not the same quality as the defective unit sent in. We need to have them address at least the most serious issues first, no?
