Modify a CEMU Wii U emulator where no Wii U graphic function is done in OpenGL. One way of doing this is to have a converter that's converting OpenGL functions into basic graphics functions.
I don't think you even know what OpenGL really is...

Who else think's DX12 and Vulkan support would be awesome?
Not particularly. That's not to say i'm against it but why do you want to see it? I haven't fallowed dolphin in quite some months but I remember some devs saying that the best things about dx12 and vulkan don't really apply to emulators. Basically it could be beneficial on some per game basis but not to expect real performance gains. Outside of AMD on linux that is since AMD has crappy OpenGL drivers(speaking of Vulkan).

EDIT: It just seems like most people who want this just want it because they are the new APIs. Or because they expect massive performance gains. In reality there likely wouldn't be massive performance gains and probably a huge performance hit while the devs were learning the new API. However, Like I said if you are an amd gpu user I guess I understand.

Slight performance gains on nvidia and AMD users will get a boost.

There is only 2 devs, one i have no idea if he even works actively like Exzap does. Having to work on another api could still potnetially slow down development. When emulators get more APIs often it's from another person which forked and worked on it. Not always the case but considering the state Cemu is in and people always wanting more and more during a span of 2 weeks well i don't see it happening any time soon. Performance also can be still optimized with better recompiler code and such anyways which 1.7.1 will bring.

Why is texture dumper output format .bmp and not .png or .tga?
as far as i'm aware .bmp doesn't support alpha channel layers.

Hi guys.

My Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD is bugged. The game shows red and green glitches. Is because of the new version or new Nvidia driver ? Anyone with this problem ? Previous version was fine.

Thanks!

Actually, Vulkan makes a huge difference. I've been using my PC to run Dolphin, since my family's Wii doesn't read discs very well anymore. I had some major lag with certain things, such as the opening level in Sonic Colors, the sunset on Xenoblade Chronicles, and general performance issues with Fortune Street. The Fortune Street issues confused me, since I can normally get really good performance with Xenoblade (not including said sunset issues), which you would expect to be a much more demanding game, so I asked the developers about it. They told me to try using the Vulkan setting instead of OpenGL, and it fixed pretty much all of my issues. Sonic Colors jumped from something like 20 FPS all the way to around 55-60, Xenoblade no longer had the issues I normally had, and Fortune Street ran at full speed, all of these with the internal resolution tripled.

And yes, I have an AMD video card, so I guess that may be part of why it made such a big jump in performance. Still, that is a huge improvement, so I can understand people wanting Cemu to implement it as well.

I think it's worth noting that Vulkan on Dolphin is only really stable on AMD last I checked, Nvidia owners are still recommended by Dolphin devs to use older API's due to instability and other potential issues. At least for AMD GPU owners, Vulkan in Dolphin provides significant performance gains without sacrificing stability and introducing various other issues.

is there somebody in this Thread who wants to buy a Ryzen CPU & check if Cemu runs as good as the Intel Chips?
