Hacking Any method to run DS roms or backups on 3DS CFW?

I'm on 11.2 with Luma, using the al9h method (or whatever its called).
I was hoping there was some method of playing DS games outside of using the actual cartridges. Are there any? Possibly the roms in a folder using some app I'm unaware of?

The only other possible option I can think of is an r4 card I have that used to work on the fat DS. Would this work somehow on 3DS since I have the power of CFW?

Search on google "TWLoader" it is a work in progress improving quite fast in few weeks it might be able to launch comercial roms ^^

Yes but DS game are intended to work on DS card and not from SD
the DS always make call to the ds cartridge and if you want to read from a .nds file you need to translate those calls and code a compatibility bridge such as ndsbootstrap

It will load roms from sd but compatibility is poor, however it will work with r4's and flashcarts which is currently best solution to playing ds games.
As a plus to flashcarts vs sd card at least you get double the size by using 2xsd cards, one in the 3ds one in the flashcart.

I'll def check it out. I have my doubts about my old r4 card, since it only worked on the fat DS. Haha

TWLOADER DOES NOT LOAD ANY ROMS
its just a CTR-Mode fronted for nds-bootstrap.
including some additional features like flashcard booting or gbarunner2

twloader does not load any rom it is a frontent for nds-bootstrap. Understand that and stop giving out false informations.
