So tonight have converted a few of the retroarch core to installable format for cfw. I only did a few for now as it takes 20 minutes each and I'm extremely tired right now.
I know @punderino made some too but he doesn't seem interested in updating them. also his meta was crap
These use the 1/17/17 nightly builds so they have all the current wii u commits (multiplayer, fat32 usb, ect). I will keep this updated :)
These crash on exit but to avoid that press the power button on the wii u then quit retroarch. (saves you a few seconds I guess)

Here are

snes9x - Title id: 13375000
Genesis Plus GX - Title id: 13375001
Mame 2003 - Title id: 13375002
nestopia - Title id: 13375003
FB Alpha 2012 - Title id: 13375004
mGBA - Title id: 13375005 (you get the point right?)

CrampedSquidSmear
BlueFireBrun
That's all I made tonight but I will make some more tomorrow :)
(if they don't install right let me know. I'm tired and I can't double check them right now. {they worked first install})

Thanks, this is great! Would it ever be possible to make these point at a specific RPX, so we could update them just by replacing files instead of having to reinstall each icon?

No. I took those pics with my phone....
Can i install in Sysnand and use with CFW Booter? (No red/emunand)
I only use sysnand so yes.

Its not a forwarder... To update either reinstall or replace the rpx in ftpiiu everywhere. (and flush nand cache)

the appstore now also carries channels for you to download , if you browse to the specific app you want : it will display a channel link if the app also has a channel .

@SylverReZ, I dislike the kind of drm where you have to play single player games online all the time bc of some verification bs

@Xdqwerty, Don't use games that have Easy Anti-Cheat as its been exploited many times.

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

@SylverReZ, i think they have been doing that since late 2000s

Either that or their old games were unfinished aswell but we can't notice it

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
So that version is semi rare
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@Psionic Roshambo, I have a rom of the ds version of impossible mission
