Can't understand that language in the screenshot. If you have a Slot-1 card inserted, try taking it out, otherwise it may not support saves.
Same error without Slot-1 card, it says "Unable to access the DS security memory. Please try again after shutting down the DS and reinserting the cartridge."

I can get past this screen by swapping the arm7 binary with the one of another compatible game (MaxCrassMethod), the loading is very slow though. An option will be added to made this arm7 swapping process easier. It could be fixed and made useless in the future by improving the bootstrap patching code but I prefer to focus on card read speed improvement for now.

Put your SRAM-patched GBA ROM in the SD root as "runner.gba" and put the BIOS in the SD root as "bios.bin". Then press SELECT in the SD game list.
ok, where would i find sram patching tools, and I'll find the bios as you probably can't link that.

Getting a 'bootstrap not found' error when loading gbarunner, but no such error when loading .nds files. Any idea?

Got this while, setting ARM9 CPU Speed to 67mhz (NTR), and holding select to choose Super Mario 64 DS on the game select screen. Seems to partially show the contents of my sd card and never load the game. If I don't hold select everything is okay. Just wanted to report this if it hasn't been already.

SELECT launches GBARunner2.
I thought it was obvious that pressing A launches the selected game, even says so in the OP.

A launches the game but I wanted the game to launch in the small screen mode. Sorry:( I didn't know holding select launches GBARunner2.

@Robz8 Any idea what I could do to see about getting gbarunner working again? It was working until I updated to the latest twloader build o.O

i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
