Looks like you used the wrong target in Forwarder3-DS, then. The target should be "DSTT/R4i-SDHC/etc.".
It finally worked, (well, not really) but now I'm getting a white screen. Does that just mean the game is not compatible? (Pokemon SoulSilver)

Make sure you have the "_dsttfwd" folder in the 3DS SD root. And yes, the game is compatible.
Also, with your flashcard being an R4 SDHC Dual Core 2012, YSMenu (which loads the ROM) might brick it, so be careful.

Also, with your flashcard being an R4 SDHC Dual Core 2012, YSMenu (which loads the ROM) might brick it, so be careful.
hmm, ok. and mine is 2016. does it matter if I load of YSMenu or not? I'm currently running Wood 1.62 and YSMenu won't open

YSMenu is needed for better game compatibility. If your card is 2016, it should be good.
oh, I guess that's too bad for me then because I'm currently running Wood 1.62 and for some reason, whenever I load YSMenu, it just load up a gray screen on the bottom and black on the top. Yes, I have all the necessary files in the SD card.

Not sure if this has been asked or in the past but 175 pages is a lot to search through and the advanced search didn't pull much up.

I've followed this guide using my AceKard 2i and when I launch the game that I had on the card via the installed CIA, it just takes me to the YSMenu, not the game (I know I can launch the game from there). But, is this supposed to happen or should it launch the game directly?

It should automatically launch the game using YSMenu. What's in "TTMenu/YSMenu.ini"?

Just to clarify I'm doing this right.
I have a ROMs folder on my flashcard SD card that I put the full ROMs in.
When I use Forwarder3DS it makes the CIA and a NDS file that are 1.5MB large so I just install the CIA via FBI and ignore the small NDS while keeping the full size games in the ROMs folder. Is that correct?

Ok, well my latest reply was the ini from my 3ds card. Should the auto boot part be empty on that? It just boots the ysmenu and I have to boot the rom through that. not sure what I've done wrong.
And sorry for the confusing posts. I've never used a forum before.

Was "Automatically set ROM path" set in Forwarder3-DS when making the forwarder(s)?
