Hardware how can i homebrew in 11.2

So, i just got a 3ds two days ago and i wanted to install CIAngel on it to play the games for free (don't judge, you would do the same if you lived here, i mean since when 12 dollars became R$150,00?)

My problem is that CIAngel, freeshop and the alikes only work with 9.0-9.2 FW, and my 3ds is on 11.2, so i would have to downgrade my 3ds, but for that i would need a way to access the homebrew launcher , and for what i saw, for THAT i would need the physical copy of OoT and a power saver to use OoThax, since none of my friends have a already-homebrewed 3ds, and i can't get either of those easily here in Brasil.

I also saw some mixed answers about Freakyhax, some say it works on 11.2 some say it doesn't, it would be better for me if it did since it's way easier to get than OoT and power save.

So my questions are: What is the easiest way i can install hbl, downgrade the FW, install CIAngel OR play the games for free? Was Freakyhax really proved to work on 11.2?

The easiest way is sell your 3ds and buy another with low firmware. Also, you can barely do anything with 11.2, it's just a burden to deal with. I rather get rid of it and start fresh. Also, here's the guide, this will you everything you need to know. https://3ds.guide

Even if you do get homebrew on 11.2, you can not get free games, downgrade or fbi because that is patched by Nintendo.

Like HuskyXD said, 11.2 is not CFW'able right now. If you got your console Brand new, you may want to back to the store and return it. Be on the lookout for a 10.7 or less.

But what about if i wait?
Same thing happened with my wii u, 11.2 is a really recent FW, makes sense there wouldn't be many possibilities since it came out less than a month ago, but what about freakyhax? Having HBL would be an advance already.

Waiting is an option, but make sure you return if before your return days expire. In the world of jailbreaks and finding exploits we have no ETA's..

As said above, really your only option here is to return it and buy another 3DS. Make sure you get a New 3DS, preferably a bundle that was released early this year or late last year so you don't have to buy a DSIware game.

I know your pain, bro. I live in Brazil too. I'm on 11.2 and FreakyHax works well for me, using a Sky3DS. But like the other guys said, you can't do much. You should wait for the 33C3 (27-30 Dec).

as of now, the only way to downgrade a 11.2 is hardmod. sorry about that bro ..

Why do people keep saying you can only downgrade an 11.2 console with a hardmod? Not true. The cheapest way I found was find a 2DS with a low enough firmware for cheap on eBay, install A9LH and Luma3DS and use that to do a system transfer to downgrade your unhacked 3DS. You can use Steel Diver: Sub Wars as an entry point to homebrew and the use sudokuhax to gain arm9 access. This method is a big, long pain in the ass though, lots of SD card swapping and adding/delteing files but it gets the job done. I followed this guide http://3ds.guide.

Edit: Oh I see that the OP is in Brazil. My route might actually not be that feasible.

I think the easyest route for me would really be just wait and hope some new hack methods come around or old ones get updated
Guess i'll just have fun with my r4 for now. BTW, do you guys recommend some hidden nds gems?

Only 9 days later soundhax is out!
The new question i have is: Does it work on old 3DS?
I've searched a bit about the compatibilities and didn't find anything about using old/new 3DSs... Actually i didn't find much about soundhax itself (probably because i'm searching for info 1 day after it came out ).
I found the github page for soundhax and it said the hack "works on every version of the firmware for which the sound app is available", i guess that WOULD imply it works on both old and new consoles but that would be different hardware rather than firmware
I guess I could wait a few more days for that info to come out but at the same time i could get a faster response posting in the forum, and I'm impatient so... yea.

Hey, you can buy a New Nintendo 3DS Super Mario 3D Land Edition from ML. They're on 10.7 (at least the YW7010/YW7011 ones. These also have Dual IPS).
