Thanks alot dude gonna use a few of your patches :)
Do you know if it is compatible with the rising sun code.bin patch and saltysd patch?
Yes. Salty is included. Rising sun is separate, since it's a rom hack, not a cheating feature.

You can make ips based on rising sun code.bin, the generated ips will have rising sun edited parts and all other mono feature you choose to apply.

...it ips not the original bin.
it's already in this dir Luma/titles/titleid/code.ips

Or you should apply the code.ips to your bin.

Dumb question, to make a code.ips for Luma, would this work? (Of course all using hex editor)
-Create a new code.ips file starting with "PATCH".
-For each patch you want, copy everything between "PATCH" and "EOF" in your download.
-When done, write "EOF" at the end of your new code.ips.
-Use with Luma nightlies.

I don't see why it wouldn't work but I never used the IPS format before :x
(Also puush masterrace)

I used the code.ips and patched my rising sun.bin but when I did that your patches worked but rising sun content did not work. Then I used my stock .bin and combined both ips patches and put that new code.ips in the folder and I got a grey screen

Would you mind share with me? Your rising sun .ips patch?

small tweak update

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I used the code.ips and patched my rising sun.bin but when I did that your patches worked but rising sun content did not work.
this is because the tool apply ips patches based on the risingsun.bin when the program compare the differences between modified and unmodified files, it only sees the patches parts.
in order to use the risngsun, you should use risingsun's ips patch + others ips + original code.bin(need to rename it to sun.bin) from sun rom.

......code section is old version doesnt support ips.

you need nightly version luma.

So i did everything that its said, should i put the ips in the sd folder or did it patched my sun.bin and i put it in D:\luma\code_sections?
did you read those text log when you use the tool?

So i did everything that its said, should i put the ips in the sd folder or did it patched my sun.bin and i put it in D:\luma\code_sections?
The *.bin is untouched file. It only used as source.

okay, so i just pute the code.ips in the created folder and thats it?
What do you mean?
Code.ips should automatically move into Luma/titles/"titleid"/.

What's your os? Seems mv command doesn't work properly.

Of course you can manually do it.
