I suspected that it would be the retail version that would be un-PASLRed because the production process takes too long. It would have already gone gold quite a while before 11.2 hit, and it doesn't ask you to update even on 11.0, so there's not really any way it would be 11.2. So, no PASLR unless it was put on the PASLR whitelist, or receives an update.

Oh I see, do you think that two Kirby 3DS games used to work with JKSM before 11.0 released? I can't import or export the saves with both Kirby games - got yellow screen all time.

It is weird about put Kirby games on PASLR because they are unhacked not use as entrypoint to homebrew.

Is it possible for smea to update and defeat/bypass the PASLR?

There was no PASLR back then for anything IIRC, so it should, yes. I don't know what the problem would be then.
I know some people have been having it work on 11.2, but some people haven't, so I think there's differences in the version numbers in the headers depending on the distribution method. (It might be that only digital is PASLRed.)
Would you know of any method that would get me a working save manager on my 9.9.0-26U 3ds other than waiting for PKSM to update and hopefully have a fix?

I don't even know why it's not already working. Using CFW and the CIA version would work for certain, though, not much reason to stay on 9.9 when you can downgrade and install A9LH.

IIRC Smealum already did a working POC, but he's on a business trip and can't work on it right now.

I have an update/question to make.. I'm on latest Update with Homebrew (Mario Sticker Star entry point), and used JKSM for PKMN Moon, for the first time to export, and later to import data to the game without issues. On second attempt, when selecting the game, it gets stuck on a yellow screen! I do not have any CFW and wonder.. what could be the cause? I'm going to delete the save data from the game itself and attempt to export/import data again (using PKHex like in first attempt), to see if it works. Something to investigate, I guess.

I think that is the problem you are having. Pokemon Moon/Sun saves seem to only be working with a CFW.

Another update. I opened the game, went out of the location I was in (Pkmn Center) and saved outside, which allowed me to access it with JKSM again.. weird.
Again, I still don't have CFW! I wonder if restoring a save, but saving in-game in the same location screws something up.

Sorry for bothering again, but is there a way to install JKSM without hombrew or FBI? I've been looking for tutorials and the ones for FBI either aren't compatible with 11.2 or you need homebrew to access it :P

If not, are there any other alternatives?

Does anyone mind telling me how to use this? I'm on the latest 3ds update and I'm on Homebrew using the OoTHax with powersaves. When I go into JKSV, it says to press "a" to select target, but I get a yellow screen. What target am I selecting? And why is it only a yellow screen?

EDIT: Ok, so I now have a screen that says "export save, import save, delete secure value, export extdata, and import extdata." Is this what's supposed to happen? Do I switch out my OoT cart with the cart I want to backup? Which option do I select for backing up saves?

I failed miserably. I had version 0 of Pokemon Sun, played 6 hours worth, deleted the CIA, installed the version 32, lost my save. I figured I didn't need to back anything up and that my save would still be there......

Is there anything I can do? How do I make sure this doesn't happen again moving forward.

If possible, where can I find existing saves of somewhere close to where I last left off (beating the 1st island's grand trial)
