This crashes for me with an error message, using homebrew and NDS download play ROMs.

I felt like this needed it's own thread. I might create a new one to coincide with retail ROM loading from SD Card, which may happen before the release of Nintendo Switch.

TWLoader is a CTR-mode frontend for nds-bootstrap that looks like the Nintendo DSi Menu.
With this, you can run your NDS games, with the DS/DSi boot screen, and clock speed of 133mhz (faster than normal DS).
You can also change the UI color to your favorite color.

NOTE1: Currently, it's not possible to run commercial/retail ROMs from SD Card with this, just homebrew and Download Play ROMs.

https://github.com/Robz8/TWLoader/releases
NOTE2: This is only for CFW users, so no 3DSX.

Instructions
  1. Extract the contents in sdroot.7z to the 3DS' SD Card root.
  2. Install the CIA in "sdmc:/_nds/twloader/cia" to SysNAND.
  3. Install "TWLoader.cia".

ROM select controls
L: Change top screen layout.
Left/Right: Select a game/app.
A: Launch selected game/app.
SELECT: Go to settings screen.

Settings controls
Settings will be saved on app exit or game/app launch.
L: Frontend settings.
R: NTR/TWL-mode settings.
A: Change selected setting.
SELECT: Go to ROM select screen.

Credits
This wouldn't have been possible without the following.

I can record a video of this with my capture card if you would like
