It would be easier if there was an option.

My point was that there can't be an option for it, as the exact same cia/app is installed on whichever region console, there's nothing to choose.

Oh, i thought it was there was a different version of it in US, Japan, and Europe and they just clumped it together.

ok, super-ultra noob question

why some of the recent titles "on that key site" don't show up on the freeshop yet? (I'm talking about games that already have both dec and enc keys added, and yes, I have an updated titlekey file)

maybe it's because we still lack a new cache?

example: Dragon Ball Z: Super Butoden 2 (USA, EUR is on the freeshop)

has anyone been having trouble getting games in freeshop to download using 11.0 firmware?? I keep on getting error >> failed to finalize content 0xd8e08025 << whatever it is I certainly hope it won't continue doing this. i'd like to dl a game or two.

I keep getting "Failed to finalize content install: 0xD8E08025".
There are many possible reasons for this. But one known diagnosis is a possible SD card problem. For example, a fake SD card who is reporting space available while it's actually full will often give this error. Double-check your SD card.

yes been there done that. nothing wrong with my dern card. all the space I ever need and not a fake card.

I keep getting "Failed to finalize TMD install: 0xC86044D2". The system is reporting that you don't have enough space on your SD card to install the game. If it's a DSiWare game, then it's your NAND that doesn't have the space.

I keep getting "Failed to finalize content install: 0xD8E08025".
There are many possible reasons for this. But one known diagnosis is a possible SD card problem. For example, a fake SD card who is reporting space available while it's actually full will often give this error. Double-check your SD card. <<

this is the info from the first page and I know for a fact nothing like this is happening to my card. its why I asked is something going on?? if it was issue of space i'd know of it. I keep up with that. anything else here it's not that either. so idk.

ty for telling me. at least I know others are not having trouble. this freeshop does this to me sometimes. i'll look over everything again and see if I can locate the problem.

Yeah, I'll be changing the music a little in next update to prevent this. Before it was loading the whole thing into RAM (and uncompressed audio is big), so you were probably running out of RAM and crashing. Next update will stream it from SD card (hopefully, still having some issues during testing).

Easiest way to figure out if this is a freeShop issue is to try to use CIAngel or FBI to install the same game that fails (try it twice on freeShop first). But on latest versions of freeShop, I've only encountered it with SD card problems.

There is a barely documented way to put background music on freeShop by putting a shop-intro.ogg and shop-loop.ogg file in your freeShop directory. But I'll likely be changing it soon.

Are you absolutely sure the SD isn't fake? Just because and SD card says it has space left doesn't always mean so.
If it is a fake there really isn't a way to know until you test it or it gets to the point where it just spontaneously collapses in on itself like a dying star and takes your data with it.
I know there is a tool to test if it actually is not a fake, but you would need to backup your data and I don't remember what the program is called.

If you have another SD Card lying around, try using that to see if the SD really is the problem.
