I think Nintendo did it. They have completely confused the rumormill.
I think I can kinda see what the parts are for, but not how it all goes together.
The docking station obviously simplifies connecting to your tv, but if it has the hard drive built in then your game collection isn't as portable? Do you have to manually transfer the games you want to play to the portable unit, or does it keep slimmed down versions installed? is the game cartridge in the controller or the processing unit? Is it all wireless or wired? Can you bring the processing unit to school and have everyone bring their own controller?
