Did you play Sticker Star? Because it's the exact same mechanics.
I did play, and it is obviously not exactly the same. There is NOTHING like the ink mechanic, which seems to act like a power points mechanic. Have you played both games? I doubt it as your opinion is shit.

Well, you're right i didn't play these generic games i only watched gameplay footage of it, and the battles function the exact same.

1. Pick a sticker/card.
2. Watch Mario attack.
3. Press the button on the right time for extra damage.
4. Earn coins to buy more stickers/cards

And yes i know you earn some sort of exp in Color Splash.

By that simplification TTYD plays exactly the same too.

1. Pick a command
2. Watch Mario attack.
3. Press the button on the right time for extra damage.
4. Earn coins to buy more badges

and something something exp.

You can summon enemies as companion characters. You can reuse the cards over. You can skip battles with weaker enemies. That alone is different from Sticker Star. The devil in the details, and the details have not been fully covered.

Hey mods if your reading this thread, can we discuss the game even if it's not officially released yet? Technically it was released by Nintendo and was obtained legally so I'm not sure where the rules lie on this one.

he said it will be the first and last time he will do that https://twitter.com/NWPlayer123/status/779522695494905856

IIRC they're anti-piracy, or at least not supportive of it

(Like most big devs in the scene)
Pretty sure that somebody sending you a copy of something you don't own is sorta piracy. Even if you are all like, "I might buy it now cos it's kewl" afterwards.

I have learnt some useful things from this user fwiw. But their tweeting of tedious file information leading up to this and it being followed up with screenshots of how many people are now leeching that torrent.... it's kinda embarrassing to see attention seeking like that from them. Actually cringe.

Probably not endearing myself to the yarrghhh brigade but I will say, how wise is it to download a torrent from a source that has been actively drawing attention to itself? Why didn't they just mirror the mega folder they used originally? It's literally one click to do it.

Oh god no.

I guess it's another one to add to the collection....
OT... but, Baten Kaitos is fucking awesome. Considering how much love MonolithSoft get for the 'Xeno' games, surprised more people don't hype these games.

I hate xenoblade. I thought it was massively over hyped crap for Wii U. Such disappointment!

Maybe I'm just sour with new games, nothing has grabbed me in the last 12 months... Nothing.
