When do you guys go back to school?

Hey guys, so school is starting back up pretty soon for most of us.
I go back a lot sooner than most (August 1st) so I only have a week left. But I got out a lot sooner than most, on May 18th. I'm kinda excited but nervous at the same time.

your welcome. I'm gonna guess your in another country other than in the US of A, or in the Northern states( IDK why but it seems states in the north go back to school later). When did you get out of school though?

I'm a teacher, and my first day back with students is August 18. I just started making real progress in Pokémon Go, so I'm not ready to go back yet.

I'm from the North West Coast of the U.S. I got out of school on the 18th of June.

that explains it. I got out of school 32 days before you, so it makes sense you go back a month later than I do.

yeah but I'm used to it. Ive always gotten out in may and gone back in August. And what sucks is since I live in the south, its SOOOO hot (like 90-100 degrees) in mid-August, so itd be nice to go back in September. I mean, summer is pretty short down here. It seems like by the time summer sales start, my summer break is 75% over.

I have to read a 200 page book by August 1st (I'm 90 pages in) and take a test at the end of august over it.
Usually I have to do an essay to but not this time.
You remind me of my little brother, he has to read a 300 page book and write an essay on it by Next Monday, and he hasn't even started yet. XD

Yeah i haven't started either. Both books are about 300 pages. One for AP euro and one for Honors english. If i dont do them i get dropped from the classes.

wow. I'm most likely gonna be put into both honor classes this year like last year, but I'm dropping out to go to regular classes. Too much stress, and I hate almost every single kid in the class, for good reason, too.

This sounds like you need to use Shmoop and Sparknotes. Theres no way you'll finish the books in time and you can use the extra time to improve the essays. You should have enough info to BS them.

Just to give you a reference, school ended on May 26th this year.
I am so unfortunate.

idk. We got out earlier because we only used 5 out of 7 snow days in the winter, so that took 2 more days of our school year.
