So, report for the version you sent me with the Gateway stuff (6/22/2016), sorry for the delay, I've been on, and still am on a trip through NA :P

It does not work..pretty much. I managed to get it to work with Triforce Heroes on Gateway, but when it worked, JKSM was actually in normal mode and not the Gateway mode..and JKSM in Gateway mode just says it couldn't find the .sav. I tried with 2 other games, neither of them worked at all.
Ok. I guess copying the sav file breaks their mount/redirect. Gateway mode is just the same cartridge code with a function to copy the sav file based on the ID it recieves from the cart.

Any chance JKSV will be updated to export and import gba VC saves? From what I have read in other forums this might be difficult to perform.

No problem guys. If anyone builds it themselves, you're still going to need the filter.txt from the release zip. I guess I need to edit the gitignore again. Also, you can create exdata for any title. I actually did it for my manager itself and copied FFVII's first disc into it when testing to make sure it worked.

What is new on the CIA version?
Does the 3dsx version get the rid on secure value?

3dsx does delete SV's now. CIA is mostly fixes + extra data creation. You're still going to need @ihaveamac's mmap files for the 3dsx. It also has issues starting under GB VC games.

I don't know what everyone thinks about the path change. I was told that there was going to be an effort to get homebrew using a common folder, but if everyone would rather it stay where it is, it's not difficult to change back. Let me know.

Hey @JK_ while this tool works with save data, I could never get the extra data function to work.
For example in Fire Emblem Fates some save files are stored on extra data but it says it can't open the archive or something.
Is this a known issue or just a problem with mine?

It might be the ID's. Fire Emblem fates has 3 different versions that all write to the same archive, but use different IDs. I'll give the db site a look sometime and get it redirected if that's the problem. The Pokemon games do this too.

Wierd, tried to overwrite a save and seems it doesn't delete secure value at all :/

Edit: It does, but you need to delete save data before importing a save (3dsx version).

Thanks for the GIT update @JK_ :)
Building without errors on lates libctru!
Would you be up to making a tutorial (or if you know of one) on getting the environment to build JKSM setup? It's one of the few home-brews I can't figure out how to build.

EDIT: Managed to set the environment up on my own and have altered the source and published a fork where the save location has been reverted back to sd:\JKSV for those that want it.

Link

EDIT: JK has reverted the save director himself in a new update. No need for this anymore.

I've only tried the 3/25/16 and the 6/30/16 builds but they both return an error when trying to export the save data of SMT: Devil Survivor Overclocked.
JKSV hangs when trying to create a file. Is it possible that this has to do with the colon in the game's name?

So, does Kirby Triple Deluxe just not work with the 3dsx version or am I missing something? From what I can tell from this thread, it does work with the CIA version.
The CIA has more permissions and can access the save data in a different way. The 3dsx needs ihavemac's hbl and mmap files for newer games.

The colon will be changed to an '_'. The problem is that these games create the save files and don't actually write to them. I believe you're safe skipping the problem files with the Devil Survivor games and just grabbing the ones that are actually saved to. The error prompt only applies to the file that gives the error, not the whole game.
