Hacking NDS Flashcart

Hi guys

Just found my old M3DS Simply flashcart that I used to use on my NDS.

Is it possible to use this with my N3DS that is running a9hl/Luma3DS?

I'm pretty sure it should, Luma has a TWL_firm patch or whatever (I'm just a hack user don't attack me lol) and my old flashcarts work without doing anything put simply putting it in the cart, you should try it first and let us know

patch the TWL_FIRM to unblock the card.

Luma has the patch built in but you may need to patch twl_firm again. If it ever worked on DSi, it should work with the patch.

Thanks for the responses guys! I have inserted the card but it is just displayed as an empty white card on the home screen, so I guess the twl_firm isn't patched.

Well that's a different story, it should still show up either way, the only way to know if it needs to be patched again (TWL_firm) would be to launch the flashcart and see if it works or not, try doing the simple stuff and see if it shows up on the Homemenu (AKA: rebooting, blow into cartridge, etc.) if it dosen't show up after.. RIP flashcart 2016

try what I said above first, then we'll talk about patching TWL_firm (which is probably not the issue anyways)

I have the same problem sometimes with my Acekard 2i. You need to blow in the cartridge and slot 1 to clear out any dust. Then try reinserting it. If it still doesn't work, then you're out of luck. Patching twl_firm is as simple as installing a cia file on your NAND.

Yes it is seeing the card, it spins around on the top screen as a NDS cartridge with a white label

Yep. You need to patch it.

That happened with my old Clone R4 aswell
It means it's probably too old to work on the 3DS

Try your luck with this, very simple process, if wanted make a nand backup (nothing wrong with being safe )

EDIT: TWL_firm can't be linked, but you can find it from the small hints the op from guide tells you
