I tried using a different code, Infinite Shield for P1, and that didn't work either, so I guess you're right, TamDanny. I'll have to launch the HBL in a different way, but I'll do that later. Thanks again for being patient with me.

No prob, happy to help. To be honest, I have a bit of a problem of my own, but I just wanted to see if I could help out a little. So, ahem...

Apparently I broke the "TCPGecko dot net" program, & I'm not sure how to resolve this issue. I say this because not only does it not connect to the console, but it kinds of "breaks" the connection. I can connect just fine when I use JGeckoU, but after trying TCPGecko dNet, I can no longer connect with JGeckoU. Deleting and putting back the files doesn't seem to do the trick, as if it saved its configurations elsewhere (for example, it remembers the IP address I've used before, even after deleting).
Can anybody help me out with this? I'm unable to search for RAM data now, & it would be nice to get this fixed. Thanks in advance.

Oh, I thought that: "Upon completing a section of the Cave of Shadows, the game presents a score based on the amount of Hearts preserved, time taken, highest combo and amiibo used while traversing it on a previous attempt" means that your score will be publicly visible

Not that I've ever seen. I've never known a console Zelda to have leaderboards. I don't think it posts it to Miiverse, either. I believe the rank is just there to brag to your friends. If you could post the Cave of Shadows code to your website, I'd greatly appreciate it. Those last few floors are kicking my butt, and I'd like to get to the bottom with all 20 hearts so Wolf Link in Breath of the Wild will have a lot of stamina.

it's not an "infinite" cheat but it should help.

Current Ray gun [H0neyBadger]
1EF8D4F0 00XXXXXX # normal
1EF8D4F0 01XXXXXX # double
1EF8D4F0 03XXXXXX # blue
What is XXXXXX for blue replaced for?
Edit: also it seems Pal codes are not compatible with US ones :c

Okay. I have no idea why, but now I'm having the same issues as @skilarbabcock
I know the ELF doesn't work right with TP HD, so I used the pygecko loader that used to be in the OP (old pygecko) that I selfhosted a while back. Geckodnet works fine, but JGecko U doesn't work at all.

Wait. Before we started using the ELF, didn't we have to use the kexploit with AO mirroring? Is that what's wrong?

Elf with cosmo's code handler has never worked correctly 100% on my end, I prefer to use old k31+pygecko, then whatever TCPGecko or JGeckoU

So I can poke the addresses using JGecko U's memory viewer, but they don't work as codes. I'm using @CosmoCortney's TP HD codes. So what gives?

Is there no way to use constant codes with TP HD? I've used them with Hyrule Warriors before with no problem.

Now it doesnt work with Hyrule Warriors any more. Can someone please link me to the way to use JGecko U without the ELF? I don't want to use GeckoDnet manually or wait for the ELF problems to be corrected to finish the Cave of Shadows.

Try with the old JGeckoU build, should be on project github releases, also do you know if the code works on US systems? Cosmo is from germany so...

Another thing, boot k31 first, then pygecko, if it shows you Wii U IP address it's ready to connect, otherwise boot pygecko again.

I'm using codes I found myself for Hyrule Warriors, which have since been found by others here. The addresses are exactly the same. But the problem with Hyrule Warrior seems to be that those addresses aren't correct now?! I looked in the memory viewer and found that the addresses in question aren't at the values I would expect. They're all 0s. But I (and others) have been using these addresses since 1.9.0 came out, and there hasn't been an update to the game. So how are my addresses no longer valid? What's more, when I checked the memory addresses for the TP HD codes, I could see they were correct and even poke them with both JGecko U and Geckodnet, and they had the desired effect. But for some reason Hyrule Warriors addresses are off now, despite not having updated anything. Could the kernel I'm using (or pygecko) change the addresses?

As for old versions of JGecko U, there are no releases on the GitHub.

I hate to be that guy on the Internet, but how does one use pyGecko? I know it's a dumb question, but I can't really figure out how to use it, nor find anything online that says how to. I'm asking because the TCPGecko dNet is somehow broken with me; & I have no clue how to fix it. The only option left for me to search for RAM in the data is with pyGecko, but I really have no idea where to start. I downloaded the entire thing (as a .zip, in case you're wondering); but that's as far as I've gotten with this.

Pygecko is just the method we're using to do all this. You need a client like Geckodnet or JGeck U to send/receive info from the console. If your Geckodnet is broken, you'll have to use JGecko U, or fix Geckodnet, or use something like Simple Code Loader.

No idea, I'm that confused as you when it comes to whatever TCPGecko/JGeckoU works with whatever code handler. I have 3 different TCPGecko versions, and 3 different JGeckoU versions, I find myself testing codes on the blind. So far I stick with the non elf codehandler, just k31+py, and the TCPGecko 551/JGeckoU version that doesn't remember the IP, hardly the optimal setting but works for me most of the time.

What I can't figure out is what has changed. I haven't changed anything since the last time I messed with all this (when I started using the ELF) and now suddenly it doesn't work without the damn elf. I guess I'll have to wait until the elf is fixed then, if that's even possible.

"pygecko" acts on Wii U side to allow the connection with the PC side apps TCPGecko/JGeckoU. The confusion arises because you have a PC side ram editor called pyGecko too (it's kinda outdated and not very user friendly) so it's more convenient call the Wii U side connector just "codehandler"
