Sorry for being so late to respond. Been a hectic week because of schooling. File names and extensions are normal. I had some free time and tried to validate my original nand.bin dump. It "No usable file found" error. Tried to cover all my bases and redump the nand.bin and validate it with same result of "no usable file found". I will head over to the irc channel when I have extra time.

I have dumped the HS multiple times, I have tested the Windows & the linux version, and I have tested multiple versions of FBI. What should I do to get this to work?

I had the same exact issue on latest version as well. It worked perfectly before, but with the latest update it fails every single time. I tried an older version and it worked, and the one built into hourglass9 also worked, but for some reason this version just fails every time.

You have to use CFW with signature checks patched (pretty much any current CFW). Without doing so any unsigned code, including one injected into H&S, won't show up.

Just checked. I guess it didn't successfully copy over when I transferred the latest version to my SD. It does work on the latest version.

I've currently dumped and injected BigBlueMenu and loaded up rxtools, but when I try to load up the h&s icon, it tells me an error has occurred and to restart the system. I'm on a 2ds system and I'm trying to update the firmware from 6.0 to 9.2. Any help is appreciated!

Try it with FBI instead. It is also possible your BBM is encrypted, in which case you could try dropping the file into /Decrypt9/ on your SD and using the CIA Decryptor (deep) to decrypt it.

How would I go about that? I'm very new to this and don't want to brick my system :o
