And I'm happy with it. It works, my original stuff in sysnand is untouched in case if I need to go back.
Sysnand backups and emunand on a9lh. Just saying. No pressure.

Oh am I forgetting something?
AuroraWright = Mother Mary of a9lh
dok3 our saviour incase things went wrong
My views on a9lh? If you're a newbie, you shall stick with Menuhax. If you like speed and consistency, install a9lh. If you have Menuhax and people say "a9lh has brick protection" remember, you're a newbie and no fucking thing that you would do on your EmuNAND would brick your console.
I installed a9lh during the times of flickering browser screens etc. I definitely think that it's worth the risk. But yeah, the final decision lies with you.
Does that make me the lost race of k9lhax since I did it months before everyone else?

I'm perfectly happy with
menuhax+rxtools I have not had any issues I haven't seen my sysnand in months I don't care about the slightly faster boot rate because no matter what my 3DS boots faster than my phone I guess that's why I've never noticed the lag and as for space I'm using a 64 gigabyte SD card and I'm very picky and selective with games

I have a very important set of TPS reports to turn into my boss today after weeks of trial and research, I am fairly confident I can just turn in my SD card with A9LH. It is always the answer!

SciresM and I did it weeks before everyone else, so we're the last survivors of the lost race ;^)

I believe that makes you lost tribes of Jews. If I remember my religious studies (and I don't), bringing you all back to the holy land will trigger the End of Days. AKA the official release of the NX.

You didn't get the memo, you have to use the fork of A9LH with the new cover sheet.

Every time someone asks about CFW, I link Plailect's guide and tell them to only follow until step 3 (setting up menuhax + emuNAND), why? Simple.

A9LH, while still very relatively safe and has a very high success rate if everything is done right, would still pose a fear factor for newer users.

We all know that if you follow everything to the letter, the chances of an unrecoverable brick are very slim unless something outside of your control happens like a faulty hardware, I even did A9LH and got it to work without a single problem.

Sometimes NAND writing fails, and what new users don't know is that as long as they don't get out of D9 they can keep attempting to restore NAND backups, a lot of people panic and exit, and this perma brick themselves.

Honestly, we need to think about the newcomers, while it'd be nice and all if they got A9LH since it's literally the best option right now, you also have to take into account the fact that they're not too experienced and the fear factor that the chance of bricking causes to people without hardmods.

I get the point. But nowadays installing A9LH is flawless. Really there's no need to worry if there's such a wonderful guide.
But we should preach A9LH to the newcomers, because they will end up creating 5+ threads asking "Why doesn't gba/dsi games work" "Why does sometimes my 3ds get stuck on a yellow screen" "Why doesn't it boot to luma(broke menuhax)" or finally "I acidentally updated to 11.0 sysnand how to get back".
It's just better for them and we should expose them to the real and definitive method of 3ds hacking which is a9lh

Thanks to Plailect's Guide, it helps people to upgrade, to setup CFW & A9LH, to help people answer noob easily.
But it also brings more and more bad manner A9LHists start to spread that guide on every request post, and force other GBATemp users to accept A9LH, and ostracize other opinions.

Although Plailect's Guide is an A9LH guide & omitted when you can stop if you don't want to go A9LH (actually if you end at the finish of Part 2 Downgrading, it's indeed a Menuhax guide), it doesn't force readers to follow.

As someone who held out for quite a while before converting to A9LH, I have to say, that before I made the change, I understood the OP's mentality. But after you actually do it, and when all is said and done, I can't deny how much nicer it is than the alternatives. I get why A9LH users feel the need to tell Menuhax users to make the upgrade, it really is worth it and truly is the be-all end-all method of hacking your 3DS. I'm not going to sit here and say you're wrong to stick with Menuhax, however, I'm also not going to lie to you and say that you're being smart to stick with Menuhax over A9LH, as frankly there is no good justification for not making the switch beyond being afraid of bricking (which if you follow the guide properly, won't happen), or just not having the time to tackle the guide. But even if that is the case, it really is worth it to find a day to set aside some time and just make it happen, the end result is unquestionably worth it.

A9LH has become to the 3DS to what BootMii is on the Wii or like what M33 CFW was for PSP before the Pro CFW's
Well, isn't it pretty much the same as BootMii?

omg get with the a9lh + reinand master race ;p
Well, literally me anyway. I just run your fw for things that the Luma3DS I have can't do for some odd reason, such as running GBA games.

That's actually bad, and not for the reason your thinking.

You should be telling them to stop at Part 4, Section I, step 26. This way they have injected FBI into emuNAND and have created backups of sysNAND and emuNAND.
